The Woes of FPS Opt.

So I downloaded and started using this program for MW some months ago for playing TR 1. I'm considering removing it for a few reasons.

Although, I know the program is bug riddled, when I've looked through comments on PES and such sites I don't see anyone else having this problem, so hopefully it's something resolvable.

It appears to be a conflict of sorts between MGE and FPS Optimizer. What I'm experiencing is every cell three cells away doesn't load. However, my MGE settings allow me to see up to I believe 9 cells away. So it ends up looking like this:

...And so on. Although it seems like a minor annoyance, it seems to bother me a lot more than it should as it really breaks the suspension of reality.

I could probably live without the mapfix. Although it lead to a lot of wandering, it also introduced a new feeling into Morrowind. Real exploring. No map, no idea what was going to be over the next ledge, if there would be a settlement or anything, which I did actually enjoy. Plus also being lost for the first time!

However, I am a bit attached to the multirecall. It is greatly superior to the other ones I've tried in that it allows multiple recalls to be set to mod areas (Such as TR) and uses a much less clumsy interface to achieve this and can be removed without the mess the other options caused.

So, I would assume a lot of people here have had experience with FPS optimizer as it seems TR is one of the major reasons people end up downloading it to begin with.

So has anyone else experienced, or even better, solved this problem before?

Well, I have downloaded FPS Optimizer to check out TR since I can never go without my world map it's always open in the corner of my screen. Have you tried to change the fps average, I'm not sure if this would change anything but it's worth a try. I use MWE and FPS optimizer and I haven't ran into any problems with either one. And I notice my computer brain ( is that what it's called?) no longer roars at me. So now I can finally hear the morrowind music and such.

I spoke too soon, my world map is FUBAR'ED and i think FPS optimizer did it. The map showed me in a chunk of land that had never exsisted. It was Strange.
