Map Question - SOLVED
Is the map supposed to be all gridded and whatnot? Or is it some wierd setting?
It's some Wrye Mash's settings, not TR's. Have a look here.
You can disable the gridline drawing by unchecking World Map Gridlines on the column header context menu. However if you've previously drawn the map with the gridlines enabled, you may still see some gridline remnants on the land masses that you've visited. These will not disappear until you re-visit the corresponding cells.

You know what's also popular? Enormous flying cities and ridable dragons. Maybe TR should invest in navigable ships and underwater cities.

You can also cast ALMSIVI intervention from Sadrith Mora: that will put your character in Ranyon-ruh, just outside the Temple.

1) You don't, I'm not sure why IP said to do that.
2) Not as part of TR.esms. We have a conflict-minimising policy of not touching Vv. Once Map 2 comes out, I intend to release a 'second-party' mod that creates fast travel from Seyda Neen via Census and Excise.
3) All you'll miss out on is the 12 or so Telvanni quests, and the occasional 'optional route' in one or two misc quests. Everything else will be playable.

a man builds a city
with Banks and Cathedrals
a man melts the sand so he
can see the world outside
"They destroyed Morrowind? Fiddlesticks! Now we're going to have to rebuild it again!"
