You didn't clean the paper and the stairs. If you delete them they wont be deleted from your house, bvut only the changes you made through your mod to the original game will be nullified.
Normally a basement has around the same light as a normal house. It all depends on the style of the architecture that you're making. If that is common, you can always use the common light values, if it is velothi, always use those settings, etc. Recommended twice. I hope an admin will see this and promote you.

i found no errors worth mentioning. i would have liked to see some kind of rail between the bed and the stairs though.

sorry i didnt get around to this earlier. lets see if i can promote you for interiors... hms, i added you to the TR modders and Interior modders usergroup... i hope thats what i was supose to do. ill wait till someone more experianced comes around and tells me how to do this :P

now, on to the exterior, wich still needs a lot of work imho.

-the land should be raised from underwater more gradugaly. go back and smooth this area out some more.
-the island is very flat. add a hill or something on one side to make it more natural.
-it lacks detial, especialy rocks. if you take a look at the ascadian isles, its generaly large clumps of rocks with mushrooms/trees. flowers and shrubs also grow around said rock clumps. the way you have it rightnow it looks like you just put some statics down randomly. basicaly, make it look more like the original region. also, make sure to use only flora that grows in your region.
-you use only one texture. while on a small island like this it dosent matter as much, you should vary it up a bit. several types of grass for example, and sand or rock near the water. Also, use vertex shading! vertex shading should be used anywhere where shadow is cast (around trees, rocks, items, etc.) and where textures meet.

your exterior is an ok start, but realy needs more work. look at existing beth regions and try to mimic what they do (without cookie cutting :))

Congratulations! If you have any questions, you can always ask me. You might want to go to the unclaimed part of the interiors and grab an interior!

I see you are promoted... congrats!

Now that you've finished your showcase, you don't have to post files here anymore. If you want to try to be promoted for something else, then feel free to, though. I'm guessing that you posted the file so that someone could review it, and you meant it to be for you?

Just remember that If you started working without gridsnap, once it is turned on the other pieces that were already placed are still not aligned on the grid at the same increment(unless you have the devil's luck).

This is really the only advice on the subject I can give because I am far from experienced with CS III or IV.

You may just want to re-do the area with gridsnap on.

I see that you were talking about Reference Snap, not grid snap, I misunderstood.

Please disregard my comment, I am not at all familiar with reference snap in TES IV.

Sorry about that.

oh lol i tohught what u said worked for a sec but it didnt its REALY ANNOYING i cant even turn around any frigen object without it being in the wrong position like in morrowind CS u can snap angle and grid everything in this every object turns at a slightly different angle than the rest and THE GOD DAMN REFERENCE thing. is completely pointless as it does nothing.

EDIT: im also woking with fort interiors would that effect it? and it has something to do with snap angle i think?

make sure your preferences for snap to grid and snap to angle are set correctly. grid is multiples of 8 ( i use 32) and angle are degrees (i use 45). the bigger the value the easier they snap together. some pieces dont snap together well at all, and some pieces only seem to want to snap from one side. its a pain, but eventually you can get it all to fit with a combo of grisnap and snap to reference.

try checking a similar quest or instance, or the CS wiki. im thinking that its an AI action instead of a script actually.
