Concept Art *still* needs you!
Concept art is, was, one of TR's strength -- we have a lot of talented guys and gals on the roster, and a great number of excellent pictures. But it's been in a lull for quite some time now. Nobody draws anything anymore.
We still need to make a lot of things for Hammerfell. We need to conceptualize the remaining two furniture sets at the very least so that models can be made and then interiors can be made with these models. We're not going to go anywhere if we don't have that.
So, this is a call to all concept artists to do concept art. If you have any question or problem, if you don't like how we're organizing stuff or what I'm asking you to do, please say so. I'd very much like to get us out of this snag.

Ahh... okay, from what I gather bamboo style build, asian like?... I tried my hand at a one person bed, hope it's useful or at least liked!
Also, first top left is a diagonal view, the second, bottem left is from the back to the front of the bed where the pillow is, and the third, from the pillow back.

very good! I suggest you start your own concept art thread, and post your works there. You really have the touch that I could never get... Well, at least I can try. Good luck!

I like it Its simple and elegant.
Do try not to associate an existing region to the style *too much*, of course there are visible influences, but the more Hammerfell work you study, you will definitely see a distinct unique style emerge.
I'd say start a new topic in the CA forum self titled to post your work in. That way you can have a place to post all your future work.
Looking forward to moar furnitures

Heheh, thank you two for your comments! I'll work on my style, I have to say this is my first concept art and I know I still need to work on my layout, Umm, I'm a bit new with Hammerfell and I'll try to learn the customs as much as I can, but any help or suggestions are gladly accepted and I like criticism!

we need everything high priority stuff is stapled to the top of the forum with the FCG (focused concept group) tag. other hammerfell stuff, like clothing, flora, or architecture, is also needed, but it should be kept in your own thread.
you should take a look Lutemoth's thread, its pretty much our style guide. other helpful artists would be Elfane, Myzel, Lighter than Some, and Pound.

Hey, very cool drawing.
I think you posted this in the wrong place though. Maybe a moderator can split this and give you a thread of your own (either in this forum or the showcase forum).
Anyway, you have excellent drawing skills and I'm sure we could use your help. All you have to do is start drawing.
What we need is concept art for Hammerfell. You should take a look at other people's art-threads to get a feel for what is needed.
Lutemoth's art is our style-guide:

Am I to late? Lol I hate to be the guy that periodically reappears for a few weeks and then disappears for months... but I guess that's me. Hello to anyone that still remembers me, and what do you want, to anyone that would like me to do something..? I need some new TES art anyways.
Edit: I need to change that avatar lol!

Haha, I never imagined you as 13 anyhow, before or now. Sounds good, I'd prefer doing characters, armor or whatever, if there is still room for that. Not sure what all you guys are still creating, so if you got some particular people you need art of, I'd like to know.

yea, sure, always room for that. were working on the forbear areas atm.
one thing we could definitely use is a concept for the city guard armor. it should be versatile enough to be used in both crown and forbear areas, and include space for the insignia of the city.
you can do other things too of course

Well, hello there, how's everyone been? Since Christmas holidays is nearly here, I thought I'd make a gift to TR, like some fort concepts, or something along these lines.
Truth is, I'd be willing to make some models/textures too, but last time I left it half-done and gave you more trouble than help, which really isn't what I wanted (apologies for that).
So, if there's something I can occupy my rusty hands with, drop me a line and tell me

concept art is an absolute must to get anything rolling for a new project. As a mesher, I have to wait until a concept is submitted and approved, then modders have to wait for me to finish the mesh, reviewers/testers wait for the modders blah blah.
Concept artists are the butter on my 3d bread
