Thats really screwy, PCgamer last logged in on oct 10, but posted that on oct 13. WEIRD. Back on topic, I'm 13, just letting y'all know. I'm probably the youngest one here.
if you read my location and thought "woah what a perverted old man!", then you must be a perv yourself. because i never said anything about them being strippers... heheehheehheee

This place is crawling with young'uns, apparently. And what do you mean by "quiet year"? Middle schoolers tend more towards being very loud and whiny than quiet and retrospective. Take a year off after you graduate high school; that's what I call quiet (and excruciatingly boring, but whatever).

Jeeeez, if I were half my age, I'd still be older than the typical poster here. I did my first computer program in Fortran on punch cards, back when you held "batch files" together with a rubberband. Referring to something as a "PC" would have gotten you a puzzled stare, since it might have referred to a "Pre-Columbian artifact", a Professional Consultant, or Personal Correspondence, certainly not to a quarter-million dollar mainframe computer.
My first job out of school involved a "mini-computer", which had been expanded to a massive 512 BYTES of "core" memory, small ferrite beads with tiny wires runnning through them to store a magnetic polarity. I was astounded when I first saw a Hard Drive, which used 12" diameter platters in a replacable package to store an amazing 10 Megabytes of information. It was incredibly fast, much more so than the huge reel-to-reel tape drives in common use at the time (like you see in glass cabinets in black-and-white sci-fi and high-tech military movies from the 1960s).

Hey, I've finally come of age! - 62!
Nothing to do from now on but enjoy my hobbies and collect SS. btw, I do hope that all of you young'uns enjoy paying for my retirement. I plan on collecting for quite some time. But it is good to see that this project is still rolling on. After a whole lot of turmoil (plant downsizing and the like), I expect that I'll stop in more often.
Whatever happened to the tavern? I'd have bought a round if it were still open! - Grey

Yeah, it's possible to be older than Haplo - it just takes time!
It was really strange walking around map 1 and saying "I helped with that . . . I helped with that . . . I helped with that." (Anyone want to ask Noirgrim about the time he said he'd finish all the ext's in a month? - yeah, those were great days!)

You mean the Silgrad/Kogo'Tel affair? I think some of those exteriors were revoked. I know for sure Kogo'Tel was...Greybeard wrote:Yeah, it's possible to be older than Haplo - it just takes time!

SIGILLVM COMMVNITATIS DE CIVITATE BERGENSI
Yeah, wasn't that a riot!! - And remember how mad Inferno_Str1ke got when someone tried to rework one of his claims?!!
btw, Nemon, congratulations! Who would have thought that anyone would marry you - and have your kids as well! She must really be some gal! (Hmmm - If she's got that much good sense, I wonder if she's related to my wife?!)

Hey now...there is no reason you could not live till your early 90's.
You could have the nurse set up a computer in the old folks home and keep on moddin' TES 13 "The Scrib Strkes Back."
Anyway...I'd bet you are in better health than me.
In truth I think it is really cool that someone your age is messing around with morrowind and mods...if only my Dad would do that.

Just when you think it's all ducks and checkers, the salamander begins to frolic in the eggnogg.

I'm 17. I'm a normal guy (apparently), with my own flaws and weirdness (I think everyone has one of his). As the time passes on, I do realize I'm getting farer and farer from my ego. In fact, I realize that when I was born, I was already off my true ego. Now I'm a strange, a foreigner, who seeks its true nature and pace. But I fear it just gets harder to get to, and I'm running out of time - even at this exact second...
The life I had till now is quite short, when compared with Haplo or Gerybeard, but it seems to be so vast...
EDIT: I play Morrowind since 13... quite some time for one with the age of mine!
