Hey there all. I'm TennysonXII and I've been watching the goings-on at TR for a while. I tried the TR mod(s) for Morrowind, but unfortunately ran into some technical problems. I love the direction in which things are heading, and so when I saw that ya'll needed writers, I was more than willing to help.
Here's what I can do or what I have ideas concerning. Hope you can help:
1. Anything non-fiction. I love the lore of The Elder Scrolls, and have read almost every in-game book of Morrowind and Oblivion. I'm an excellent researcher, so this seems ideal.
2. Historical fiction. This seems like it should be easy enough. Pick (or make up) a figure from history, and write about him or her. I really enjoyed The Real Barenziah (I've read both versions) and 2920, The Last Year of the First Era.
3. Journals. Tamriel is littered with people's thoughts written down for adventurers (and cat-burglars) to find. I think someone mentioned something about a pirate -- I could do that. Plenty of ancient kings and queens may have written journals; what about a Yokudan pilgrim's diary, or a Breton resident of the Iliac Bay who suffered at the hands of the Ra Gada?
4. Fiction. I leave this one for last because it is the literary type in which I am least interested, and the one which seems least useful, at least for this project. I can, however, write a decent story if there is need for such. Also, I could just go read a bunch of Lovecraft and translate that into the world of The Elder Scrolls-- the game devs seem to have done that at least a couple times.
If you see anything that I've suggested, or if you have suggestions of your own, let me know. I'm much more comfortable taking suggestions and orders than beginning a project now only to find at a later date that it was superfluous.

By the way... Do you happen to know what the fine is here in Cyrodiil for necrophilia? Just asking.

nonfiction, is, luckely, what we really need right about now head over to the literature section and familiarize yourself with the moratorium and various rules of the place, and then pick something to write about. i think it would be interesting to cover one of the more obscure parts of hammerfell or morrowind lore, such as events during the second era.

What is TR's policy on "faulty" information in books? I was thinking that it might be a good idea to present several points of view on a given subject, with minor contradictions.
My basis here is comprised of two parts:
1) There is a bunch we don't know about Hammerfell. Trying to pass something off as the "the way it is" doesn't sit well with me, especially since Bethesda may be inclined to add to Hammerfell/Yokudan lore at a later date. Writing from several angles gives a certain amount of leeway.
2) This method allows for several books to be written about the same general topic. This adds to the diversity of the books we present, and creates a more entertaining library (in my opinion).
In TES lore there are already examples of this type of writing: Multiple accounts exist of what happened at Red Mountain, and there are many differing creation stories.

Have a shot at writing anything you'd like within the ES universe and I'll take a look at it.
