One degree (two?) of separation, Zalzidrax! I spent 2 years at McChord AFB (Tacoma) back in the '60's, and one of my boys was just there for 3 years (before he was sent to Guam!) Loved climbing the mountains, but you can keep your winters.

Well I've lived here all my life, so I'm weird and twisted and enjoy a nice windy and rainy day. Sun just gets boring if it goes on for too long. Though I wouldn't mind a little bit more snow at times--snowballs and snowmen are stil fun, though I am probably too old to be supposed to enjoy them.

Is anyone else from Australia here? :(

I had to change the link. The first time I didn't click the right button so it might have been from New Zealand. I don't know.

Cool, thanks :)

I share your pain. Why can roads be strait!

Well its not so much of a problem if your going to the city, but its hard to get anywere else because all the main roads go to the CBD.

I live in Melbourne too mate :P. I've been to warbuton. Hade a band competiton there.
I live by the beach, 20 odd k from the city. Black rock, just south of sandy (sandringham). We get a lot of snobby types round here, since I live by brighton :P.

I am from Eindhoven, Brabant, but I live in Winschoten, Groningen. Both in The Netherlands. Though I have lived in Turkey for nearly 12 years, Greece for 1 year, as well as 6 months in both Bulgaria and Israel. Because of that I now speak 7 languages rather fluently.

If you have the labels (streetnames, etc) then you can locate me even closer than the 'local area'. Because street numbers were listed on-screen for me and i found my block of flats at 303 Barnard Street.

I live in Croatia, in a town called Generalski Stol translated as General's Table. It's name has to do with our history, this places around 400 years ago were occupied by Saracens. Some important decisions were made here by defending generals, hence the name. My family got my last name because of their efficiency in.... Stopping Saracens.

I can hardly find it in Google Maps, but in Google Earth my house is visible.

Yeah, I know, but I live in outskirts, almost in forest. \m/ Besides, there are just some pictures of church (grrr) and Mrežnica (beautiful river), nothing else.

Here are the coordinates in Google Earth:

45°19'53" 15°21'44"

The picture kind of sucks, can't get any clearer. If you click on that picture, on right you can see my old house, built in 1929.

Google earth does not really show you the scope of how big Houston is so here is a pic taken by my friend Fred the pilot.

Houston is the, by population, forth biggest city in the USA but by land size we are the biggest.[/img]
