Stirk 1.2 Out!

Post by Lady Nerevar »

Just thought I'd let you know in a separate post :)

Stirk 1.2 fixes a bug with the main quest, moves the Magnificent to prevent conflicts with major mods like Better Cities, and includes expanded instructions on making Stirk work with map replacer mods.

Be sure to download if you have earlier versions!

Already posted this on the BSF forums, but I'll post this here for those who don't visit there:

I'd like to point out to those who's saved games may have been affected by the missing quest items error, and would still like to use those same ones:
typing 'setshowquestitems 0' in the console will, in theory at least, I have not actually tried this, fix the problem with the missing items.
Again, do not quote me on this (and please spare me if it doesn't work :P ), I didn't have the ability to try this out. But that is essentially how the error was fixed.

So uhh... Enjoy!

EDIT: I now sit here and wonder why I had not thought of posting this earlier. :?

Hey stryker, has it been said on the BSF to create an entirely new save when playing Stirk?. If not, it should be posted there oh and here :D

I know it sucks. but thats how errors magically get fixed.
theviking and MowSkwoz have it in theirs... soo: "We need quest designers!" - Stolen From teh Cutness.

I am retyping my questions/suggestions from ESF:

1. Why there are no distant landscape nor objects and why DistantLOD folder was added if it contains almost no data? PC swimming from Anvil actually won't be able to determine on how to get to the island. Check this one:

2. There are some missing cells around the island, holes in the water. LOD water is OK, it will be always OK, but PC standing on the island can see those holes, they are around the island, to the west and to the north. There should more water cells generated in these regions.

Thanks, it was hard finding it. Google for some reason puts 'Stirk' as 'Strike'
Will test now.

Congratulations and thanks to everyone involved in the final push. I'm sorry that I didn't stick it out to the end, but I'm still so sick of Stirk (alliteration unintended) that I'm not sure I'll play the final version. Anyway, it's great to see the final version posted for all to play.

They're is a missing cell around the isle of stirk.
it's bluish in color, and it takes you under the water, rock bottom. The fall is instant death.
