Game of the Year problem

Post by JoshthePirate »

So i looked around for a little bit, and I couldn't find any solutions to this already out there... I have the "Game of the Year" edition, and the tribunal and bloodmoon files aren't in the "data files" folder. Is it because they're combined into one file in the GOTY? Or do i just need to fool around for a while until I'm able to get to both of them? I haven't progressed far enough in the game to access either (I played on xbox until recently, and i've finally picked up the pc version)

I'm sorry for cluttering up the forum if this has already been addressed.

It's been years since I played Morrowind GOTY, but I'm pretty sure that it had 3 master files. I don't remember if they all show up in Windows explorer. Maybe they were all packed inside of one or more archives.

Thanks for the quick response. I've looked at the window that comes up when you click Data files on the Morrowind start-up window, and they aren't there either. How would I go about finding them?

Have you tried reinstalling?

try finding the C:/program files folder where things are actually installed.

The reinstall worked. I have the autoplay function turned off on my computer, and so when I manually told the CD to install, it only put the main part on. Thanks for your help. I really didn't care about replaying the expansions, but when it meant no Tamriel Rebuilt, I was a little upset. Thanks again
