Help exiting Cave System
I should have saved a new file, but reality is I stumbled upon a cave under the centre of a small lake. I entered, and found a propylon chamber and a note about it. I went back and searched the ruined house and found the indice for it. I activated, saved and explored, and now I cant find my way back to the chamber and out. The caves are located in map 5, and the at edra are the ones responsible for making the indice and chamber. How do I exit?

You must be thinking of some other mod. Apart from claims in Kogo'tel, all interiors were cleaned out of map 5 in 2007.

Cave system and clockwork city
The copy i have is from 2003 or so, There are no mods as TR and the original game are the only ones I have installed
On the clockwork city: Antarctica wasnt frozen 10,000 yrs ago.
And no I dont believe in multiple atlantises, just that it sounds very similar. Sotha Sil is/was nuts depending on what end of the tribunal main quest you believe is current.
Its like me saying that New York is my city it doesnt matter where it resides, I am the only inhabitant and that New York City travels with me.
He may refer to the traveling with him as in his memories and he may refer to him being the only resident in his own little world in his mind. Fyr said there are people outside its 'pearly' Gates. Doesnt a version of the story of Atlantis have pearly gates or a pearly road? A similarity?

uh, the possibility of a fictional real life city has little (if anything) to do with Sil's city. Sil is a god, if he wants to have a city in his mind he can, so it doesnt make sense to compare it to NY either.
the matter is closed: we will not be making Sotha Sil in Tamriel Rebuilt.

Sotha sil
I am not asking it to be made. I believe it should remain buried in mystery (Much like atlantis).
Also I was looking at the concept map, and Sotha Sil is in the jungles in southern Morrowind.
As for the topic at hand,
I am stuck in your mod in a cave on map 4 or 5.
The cave is somewhere between Blacklight and Silgrad.
I posted about it and it got locked for whatever reason unknown to myself.
How do I escape sans console?

ive merged the two threads together so that the issue is not further confused.
if youre playing some pre-alpha map5 version i dont think we can really help you. the 2003 builds are unstable, buggriden, and shitty at best. furthermore, those interiors are long deleted and replaced, and the files for them and likely the map that youre playing are long gone. sorry, but i dont think we can do anything to help you.

You are thinking of some other mod, I am well acquainted with the interiors that were removed and those you mention were not among them.

several people hosted their own claims on their websites, but merges of maps, rare as they were, were kept private.
ive looked through my archives, and i have several old merges of map5. if you give me the version number and the cell name i might be able to help you out. that is if you really have map5...

Verson Number
Where do I find the version Number?
I will get the cell name & version number when I have the calmness to play again.

One more thing
Umm as for where I may have gotten the maps from, I also acquired CDs of Morrowind mods from a friend who may have been a member back then. Either that or I downloaded them from his website. I will check back later on the CD end of it but if I did download them then I can't recall from where.

Re: Sotha sil
This whole discussion is irrelevant.
That is the simple answer.
You don't. Just escape using the console. It's not an official release and is no longer publicly availiable so we have no obligation to run around telling you how to walk out of a cave you shouldn't be in when you could just 'COC Balmora' out.oldoldie wrote:How do I escape sans console?

a man builds a city
with Banks and Cathedrals
a man melts the sand so he
can see the world outside
