Jails tend to be pretty dull, just corridors with locked doors, prisoners that don't talk to you and a table with a guard sat at it. Would be nice to have a little more to it than that, maybe more like actual jails so larger than others in Morrowind that are strictly cells. Building would enter into guardroom with aforementioned boring desk, but boring corridor with cells would have a small central area into which inmates are released at certain times of day (like RL prisons) Here the prisoners could eat and gamble so long as the guards don't find out! If space allows it (or there is a second level?) there would be some guard accomodation and a small armoury for said guards.

Based on what you said in my other thread I'd like to place a claim to this one if you think my first was ok. Attached is an ESP with the intended basic layout if you want to see what I have planned but really much as above.

thanks, layout should be fine, I've made it to fit the ext anyway. Quick query on this one regarding the communal area I mentioned in the initial bid. I have a small entry area where the guard is with a locked jail door leading to said area which cvontains 3 generic cells (further locked doors) What I think might be good is the use of a simple script to control locking and unlocking these doors and maybe enabling/disabling different aspects of any characters held in the cells. What I mean is basically have a time activated local script which unlocks and opens either the main communal door OR the cell doors depending on time of day and activates either the character inside the cells OR in the main area. 1 without the other won't really work as the NPCs will need a 'wander' package which will mean they may not be inside the cell when the doors lock...

this would be the only jail in the province that does this, so no.

Hey just an update as I know I've been MIA from the forums and IRC lately. I've got a lot of RL issues atm, v.important family stuff, hence my absence!
I've uploaded my most recent file for this claim just in case you (Thrig) want someone else to get it done before I finish it myself. It's not too far off finished anyway. The jail downstairs is finished and upstairs just needs detailing. We're talking lighting, rugs'n'taps and some clutter. Mostly going to be armour and weapons with some generic stuff on a shelves and tables here and there.
Anyway like I said, if it gets to the point where I've been gone too long (as its already pushing a month) the file here is clean and free for anyone to finish off. I hope it doesn't come to that but don't worry I'm not going to cry if it does! T

this is a map 4 interior, so it isn't exactly ZOMGUBER priority, so I won't revoke it right away. I'll probably give you a month or so.

Hi I got an email notification of your response and thought I should let you know that any modding or even playing of TES has gone right out of the window for me atm so if you wanted to take this please feel free. I think what I've done so far is worth keeping, got N marker and fits the building as well as I could make it. Thanks for keeping this on hold for me for so long anyway, I'm really sorry I haven't been able to get back to it but maybe some day life will calm down enough for me to come back!

It's done and ready for review. Don't expect much, it's a prison with only a few items inside. Has two sub levels (3 cells in each one), a tower (guard resting room), the ground level of course (entrance and "office") and a mid level (weapon store and resting place).
Hope you'll like it.
Hope you'll like it.

this needs to not fit the exterior in the same way every other guard tower does, sending back.
