Very nice! I was wondering, though, if you (or if you'd mind if I) would make the harp-player into a dunmer?

the picture was from a book about the german middle-ages

I think you can use it for Imperials, but I'll try to make a dunmer of it...

I thought I recognized it! Didn't recall it having so much green, though.

Yay! A harp for Morrowind's bards guild!

"And to all those,
who do oppose,
they soon will become frightened,
for our cry,
will make them shy,
united, bards, united!"
Elder Mod.

For now, I'm sleeping in my lightless city beneath the waves.

But someday ... I will be back.

very good...

btw, how do you make the tapestry look morrowindish?

i have some other german middle-ages motives of famous minnesänger (songwriters) like walther von der vogelweide, and so on...

i think they could be used for a bard's guild or for NPC's who sell instruments...

Trade secret :P . Seriously, depending on what program you're using, you should have some kind of setting for the medium the picture's on. In Corel, it's under "Effects, canvas." You can adjust it until you have the look you want.

I'm using Paintshop Pro 7.00 or The Gimp on my linux box.

One idea could be that you combine two images, one is the original and the other the "tapestry grid", and then you simply recolour it to red, blue, etc...

In PSP7 you have predefined tapestry grid, but it looks, ... well, you'll find the same in a toilet of the trainstation in frankfurt ;-)

Well, with your permission, I'll have a go at it in Corel and post it here if I get something presentable.

I decided to do a multi-colored version, just to see what everyone thinks. Here is the pic:

and here are the files. Enjoy :)

here are some other tapestry images (the results with The Gimp are better than PSP7...)

http://www.thierolf.org/tr/sth_furn_color.jpg

http://www.thierolf.org/tr/sth_furn_blue.jpg

http://www.thierolf.org/tr/sth_furn_red.jpg

give me some time (a day or two) and I'll make about 60 (colored, blue and red) new tapestries with similar pictures

hmmm... I'm faster as I thought....

Here are 54 tapestries, 18 coloured, 18 in red and 18 in blue with some middle-ages motives.

i have not tested them in a mod, i don't know if they look good (i think the blue ones are to dark)

comments are welcome, if you want to modify them, feel free to do so...

btw, this is my tr-project website, i'll publish my stuff there...
