TR map 6
I know that map 6 won't be released for probably 3-4 years, but i was wondering if anyone has any of the new textures for house dren? Any idea of what it us going to be like? Anything, becuase the gallery only shows wilderness and old dwemer ruin textures? Im also curius about the other maps. Will their be snow like solstien in the topright corner of TR?

I dunno what House Dren is, but House Dres has no textures, because it has no models. Whatever Solstien is, it doesn't exist in TR. If you mean Solstheim, that's not TR content, and it's in the top left corner of the Morrowind map.

in TR will thier ever be any slaves / companions. Also are their any mods that are VERY good with companions / slaves?

My understanding is that there will not be companians in TR, as they've already been done a lot by the Morrowind modding community.
Try the farming mod if you want to own a lot of slaves. For companians, Telesphoros' List o'Mods has some good suggestions.

Fighters Guild quest Problem
When I do the second quest with muscle green eyes and I talk to the thieves guild they say they they will send someone out. So I go into the bakery and wait a little while. When I go back to him my game crashes with like a million continue running executable? message boxes. Is anyone else having this problem? The only two mods I have activated are Stone Elf mod by westly and Snow prince armor replacer. (and TR)

CES construction set
-PLz start reading at post #18, all my threads have been merged and #18 is the most recent one i made.
-Ok i havent had this problem before i reinstalled morrowind but now i do. Im taking a tutorial on modding with dialoge and it asked me to test. The first time it worked fine. However the second time it asked me to test it would not let me save. Here is the MSG box "Unable to complete operation due to faliure removing privious file. Temp file remains.

Yes, i installed it to HP, Games, bethseda, morrowind so i could get TR working.
i know it has nothing to do with the WAY i installed it becuase everything works perfectly, it has to do with the PATH (mabye) but i have to install it to games.

I know, I was implying maybe the game THINKs it's installed to Program Files, or something (which is what I meant the registry...)

Morrowind Scripting Tutorial
What is the best scripting tutorial for a newb who has never seen scripts before :p
I tried scripting for dummies tutorial but i got lost when it started talking about controlvar and did not explain what it was. Then is dragged on and on about new things without explaining what they are.
I want one that walks you threw making one where it says add this line now, this means that, add this line now, this means that. One of those formats :P
My main goal is to try and make quests and then after i learn about that i need some help with landscaping.

Patch?
I have no idea why but all of the sudden it started working. I do have another problem tho. Their are 4 error messages on my mod now >.>

Scripting for dummies is to confusing in my opinion :P is their an easier one to learn the basics.
- used a dialag tutorial so i get that (i highly recommend Neverland tutorial (dialogtut.), but u need to copy and paste neverland to a diffrent cell becuase the author submitted it when all the dialog was already on it :P)

Ive noticed i had a lot of topic threads and i wanted their to be less, so im going to put ALL of the things i need help with in this thread (Note: There will be a lot :P)
Can somone please make a script for my slave bracers that i have. I want it to make it so that if the king (WM_Wolfeye_King) dies then you die. Also make it so that if you leave the caldera region then you will die. I can make VERY small scripts and i need something to base off of. Ill never be able to make a script this large. Would someone plz make it for me?

Found one!
I found one and it is really easy for the basics, i can now do little things, that have to do with dialog, like teleportation, open dialog in distance, ect. Everything that is SIMPLE and not advanced. :P

-i have no idea what happened but for some reason my knight armor mod screwed up. Every npc that had knight armor(there is a lot) was found with wearing nothing but thier cuiares. O.o and all of the dialog ID filters were screwed up. When i uncheck this mod however all my knight armory works fine. Im going to have to start a new mod :(

A few things:
Try to be a little more coherent with your posts. Right now they read like you just typed a train of thought into the box and clicked "post" without reading it yourself. Your questions will make a lot more sense to us if you slow down, read what you wrote, fix it if necessary, and then post it. As of right now I only have a vague idea what it is you want to know.
It's not necessary to start a new mod just because your current one is dirty. There's a program called TESAME, available on this site, that allows you to open your mod file in a list format and delete everything you didn't intend to add to it. It is also unwise to create mods with other mods loaded in the CS. This only creates unnecessary dependencies and makes it difficult for anyone not using the mods you use to play your file.
Scripting for Dummies is the best tutorial and reference for scripting available. You just need to slow down and read more carefully. That document contains an exhaustive list and explanation of everything there is to know about Morrowind scripting. (It actually contains a script that prevents the player from unequipping an item.)

Got a new simple script and it works . However... It works but for some reason when faldil is following me the script cancels itself. Ive had this problem for 2 days now, and posted like 20-50 forum things on morrowind forums. I thought id ask TR cause they are good with scripts :P

First off, if you mean to say that you literally made 20-50 posts (or, god forbid, topics) on the Elder Scrolls forums asking for help, I know why no one is answering: you're annoying them. One post is sufficient. Never make multiple posts asking the same question; it gets you nowhere.
Secondly, this script makes absolutely no sense out of context. In order to troubleshoot it, I would need your file and a coherent description of what exactly you want the script to do. One sentence and a block-formatted script is not enough information.
In conclusion, be patient. If you post a file and intelligibly list what's wrong with it, I promise I will try to help you solve your problem. If you can't or won't do that, I can't and won't help you.

Faleen i apologize for the confusion. First of all the reason i poseted so much was because they posted so much on the bethseda forum. We all had to constantly change my script and no one understood the reason why its not working. And i did not explain it because i thought i explained on my previous post.. turns out i didnt...
Anyways this is from my post on scripting with bethseda forums. (Btw its not 20 topic :P) "Ok the quest starts out with you talking to a goblin lord (this is a MQ for goblin mod) and his first quest he asks you to capture a wood elf (dead or alive). He tells you that she is in Elbero manor which lies to the SW but it is guarded. He knows of a secret passage to the south of the manor... So you go threw the secret passage and halway threw you spring a trap (paralize 10 secods) now a dialogue box opens (TY Tiberivus for making this work) Then you can either say i have your husband and will kill him if you do not drop your weapon. If the guy is not their she does not belive you and she attacks you. The other choice is just to say fine and she will attack you while your paralyzed. If you go to six fishes in ebonheartm, you find her husband and make him come with you threw a threat to expose his involment with another women and he agrees to come with you. However this is where the problem starts. the if distance G_elbero_Faldil (her husband) does work just not the way its supposed to. This enables her before the trap is sprung and it makes her not force dialougue, and if you talk to her after the trap is sprung she still calls you a liar and attacks you even tho hes right here. So everything does not work with her husband their like it is suposed to. Here is my new script. " New script is on previous post :P

I remember reading somewhere on TR that you could increase the distance of the map so that you can see everything and not have half the map cut off. How do i do this i tried to find out but i could not seem to find it anywhere.

On that script from like forever ago, here it is in a readable format:
Okay, I only see three things in the script that actually do anything. The first two are in the first block as enable and disable. So that you're not constatly enabling or diabling him, let's set up another variable called G_Enabled.
Okay, now that's done, you're going to want to do your ForceGreeting thing. But wait! There's this block of code in the way:
See, this code doesn't actually do anything because this short in this script isn't referenced by anything. I might be mistaken but I don't think you can reference variables from other scripts in dialogue or other scripts, so I can't see the point.
The last part doesn't need to check the journal index again. If he's disabled, you don't have to worry about him talking to you, because the game can't check the distance of a disabled object AND make it preform an action. Here's what I would do:
That may or may not work, as I haven't booted up the MWCS for over two years now. Hope I helped some.

Thx but... I figured that out a while ago and stoped posting on TR... Hehe I believe i am now a medicore scripter and i can make some pretty good scripts. Ive moved on to retexturing. Im at the part where it says i need to find the iron war axe mesh and need to copy it to the directery. Where can i locate the war axe mesh

i assume this is oblivion? you need to unpack your bsa, afterward it will be where you would expect it to be (meshes/weapons/iron). if this is Morrowind you can either unpack the bsa or locate the meshes on the CS CD.
