Any way i could help?

Post by lolsack »

I am very intrigued in trying to help out with your project for morrowind i have very minimal skills in construction set and i was wondering if i could help in landscaping which is the only thing i know how to do with any success. But all i am asking is can i help. Also if you require someone with higher skills could you please direct me to a TES construction set tutor?

Also i might be able to help with textures if needed.

If you want to help, post an example of your work in the showcase section for one of our modders to have a look at.

The "Main" link at the top has a dropdown box which links to a page full of tutorials for exteriors seeing as that's what you said you had some success with.

Once you make something up to TR standard, someone will recommend you for promotion, and then one of the admins will have a look themselves to confirm it.

If lots of errors are pointed out in your first attempts, don't get discouraged! The showcase is meant to be there as a learning experience, and a chance to get a lot of advice on how to improve your skills.

If you want to be promoted for Exterior Modding (or landscaping), what you should try do is build a small island somewhere of the mainland.

Terrain the island, make it all smooth and pretty, texture it, add trees/flora, shade thoses areas.

Basically you get the idea, So If you post up a showcase for exteriors, myself or someone else will come and review it for you. :)

at least as good as bethesda :) take a look at their exteriors or at ours. make sure to place lots of detail and make landscapes interesting and realistic.

Feel free to post examples of your texturing skills in your showcase thread when you get around to it.

Welcome to TR :))

Then i will make an island! Does it have to be lore friendly?

We don't mean make an island from TR, we just mean make an island that fits the world.

Just make a new bit of land off the coast of Vvardenfel that looks like it could have been part of the original game.

Great :) Take your time and try to make it as good as you can. There are no marks for being fast in a showcase.
