In the quest to get the helmets from the ship, I couldn't find the last one, which was supposed to be on the ground. It must have fallen through the world or something, because I scoured the whole cargo bay.
Anyway, I want to add it to my inventory so I can finish the quest. The UESP page says the hex value for it is 275E, but that isn't right. I get an item not found error when I try to use it. Does anyone know what the actual value is?

The item id's hex is different depending on your mod load order. :/

you can drop one on the ground and select it to find the ID, i think that should work. you may also be able to duplicate it once youve dropped it, but i dont remember the code for that.
check outside the ship, i think one is there.

Unfortunately that's a feature of MW's console but not Oblivion's.Lady Nerevar wrote:you can drop one on the ground and select it to find the ID, i think that should work. you may also be able to duplicate it once youve dropped it, but i dont remember the code for that.
This is a moot point now, however, since the Ayleid ruin quest nuked all my quest items.

I do believe you get those back at the end.

make sure youre playing the latest file, the previous versions have a bug that hides the quest items (they are still there, just hidden).
or you could just type "setshowquestitems 0" into the console to get them back (without quotations, of course)
clicking on the object after you drop it will makes its form ID show up at the top of the screen, you can copy it from there. sometimes it will be name and ID, in which case you only need ID.
