i just got tesame, its SUPPOSED to be easy, and maybe im stupid or something, but i have no idea how to use it. there is barely any tutorials on it, and the ones they do have are kind of confusing...so...how can i clean my esp using this? delete everything besides what ive added...create a new master file for each object? a very detailed explanation would help...a friend told me to go to editor and open datafiles, click details on my mod, find everything not mine and delete....i did this and i was missing cells and stuff so im lost, i have the perfect mod but i need this to clean it, and its driving me crazy...just someone PLEASE tell me how to use this....
EDIT: ok, thank you so much both of you, i think i may have figured it out now...now i may proceed with my showcase =...finally

Well i'm still kind of new so if i'm wrong someone please correct me but your supposed to
-open the program
-select everything that you didn't want changed (so everything besides what you added and the TES3 thing at the top) and hit space.
-All the stuff you selected should turn black. Now go up to the top bar and hit delete.
-Now save it as a new mod and it should be cleansed.

-open the program
-on the menu, click Mods > Open, select your mods
-it will then display everything in your mod. for interiors, you should keep the cell and the TES3 tag (never delete the TES3 tag). for exteriors keep the landscape data and textures (unless it lists texture which are not found in your landscape). quests should have NPCs, dialog, journals, and possibly interiors.
-right click everything you dont want (any cells that are not yours, all objects that you did not create, etc.) and hit delete.
