We need more people to get the right songs played :P For example, to get the weekly statistics we need more than 10. So go ahead and join instead of whining! ^^

Well, apparently I am a musician! :D
Or a vocalist.
Whatever.

As it mentions the three spam songs, you can get an archive which includes those from here.

Might as well post some lyrics...

this is a spammy song, its true
Spamcan Spamcan, betcha do whatever you can!
Spam can spam can, you'd never see this on a LAN
Making this song is getting hard
It doesn't help I'm rather tired
Drink some Dew and get real wired
Making this song is getting hard

Our group has now charts! They are still a bit, uhm, small, but it's a step forward :) white stripes seem to be the most popular band among the TR people atm.

Whats everyone's favorite type of music or musician. Me and my friends listen to some sweedish songs and the typical american type. I also know some people that listen to the typacal southern rock stuff, for example Linard Skinerd. But me and my friends listen to sweedish, british, and american.

Swedish, brittish & American could be just about anything. I would say that "typical american songs" could be singer songwriters like Bob Dylan, or pop like Justin Timberlake or Rap & Hip Hop like 50 cent & Akon. Saying that you listen to music from a specific country is in my mind VERY general, could be ANY kind of music.
Im just curious what kind of music you feel is typical Swedish? And the band is spelled Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Sweedish Music

Post by Hillbilly Man »

The Sweedish song is one of my favorite songs I just can't ever remember the name. Its a real cool song and as far as sweedish music goes how diverse is it. I shouldn't have said American, I meant stuff like Nickleback. My friend knows almost all the words to the sweedish song but none of us actually knows what any of them mean.

any song thats on the Guitar Hero 2 song list, including downloadable songs and the ones you unlock in the store, Free Bird is an awesome song (though i cant play it on expert)
less talk more rokk by freezepop is really cool, one of my favs. J the Fisherman by Primus is another fave.

Look for the Swedish Folk Song project, my brother John Chantler (who is sending me links and stuff for music for HF) and his wife Carina Thoren (who is swedish, and also an artist) are musicians and there apart of that. "At Bob" is there own project. (I might have made mistakes here its been awhile since ive looked at the cd cover.)

he lives in england, (im in Australia)

http://www.atbob.co.uk/ (new days is their latest release)

please check out there stuff, its pretty good.

the guy with the pink hat and pink cast on his arm is my brother john. Please if you really like his music, its worth the AU$30. if there isnt any left (limited no. of releases) I can get him to send you some.

Lol, everytime I see such threads on forums, I think "last.fm". If you ask me, everyone that is even a little bit interested in what he hears, should get it. It won't give you much except statistics in the beginning though. Its awesomeness will be discovered through time as you will keep using it.

Oh, wait. I'm gonna do some topic merging.

So if you wanna know what TR or some of us are listening to, check http://last.fm/group/tamriel+rebuilt

If you don't like the idea of a website saying what you listen to, is it because you're ashamed of it? That seems to be the natural reason for me. The other one might be a need of privacy. And keeping to yourself what you listen to, kills a big chance to discover new music. The biggest one. And who said that I can't use youtube anymore? Last.fm makes it even easier, because it imports videos for each artist automatically, so you have everything in one place.

And programs are so much evil! You use them all the time, OMG! It must hurt you very much :P

Oh, and don't forget, it's just my opinion :)

The Hives gives kickass concerts. I was at a concert with them at a swedish festival in 2002 if I remember correctly. They played as the last band of the festival on saturday night. Howling Pelle started out by thanking all the other artists especially Iggy Pop for warming up the crowd for them. Cocky as hell and rock & roll all the way.

You are talking about Boten Anna, and that song suck hairy monkey balls. At least that is what I think. Eurodisco died in the mid 90s and sometimes you shouldnt mess with the dead. It will only bring evil, like Basshunter and his song Boten Anna.

I like older music (generally) I listen to The Beatles, Queen, Guns 'n Roses, Boston, Black Sabath. Oh, and my favorite genre is classic rock (or just rock)

I also however like some metal such as metallica dragonforce or just ridiculous songs like buckethead.

I like lynyrd skynyrd's free bird, and give me twe steps.

I like Rush's YYZ and The Allman Brother's Band's Jessica.

My overall favorite song of all time is Sweet Child of Mine by Guns 'n Roses.(You just can't beat that awesome intro!!!)

If anyone is curious I'm a Hip-Hop, R&B , PoP, Some Rock , and some rap. Heh, am I the only kinda of guy that listens to that kind of music?

Oh, and to Elfane's old post, i live in america and I had been born and raised in the west ( California,San Diego ) but lately i moved out here to wisconsin and people over here like rock way more than Pop and Hip-Hop. So i think that when people see america they only see California but think of America as a whole state (which is difficult since California is the only place stuff happens sorta)

Kayo,
Once upon a time, I attended a high school in rural Wisconsin, and I can assure you that there were many tshirts that said "Wu-Tang" at that time. I'm not sure if anybody actually listened to the music, though. I don't think that the Wu-Tang Clan ever came to the big local music festival, which was named Country Jam. What a shock, huh?

While I have WAY too much music to list all of them, I think Blues Traveler is amazing; a mix of blues, rock, and a bit of jazz, those guys are very skilled. A good friend of mine has a particular interest in the many subgenres of metal, even knowing bands with animals as vocalists  !

I know quite a few people on here are into music, so I thought it would be fun to have a thread just stating what you're currently listening to. It's a great way to hear about new bands and get into different types of music :)

So, I'm currently listening to:

I'm mostly in to Alt. Rock, Harmonic Rock, and prog. Some of my favorite bands-

Muse. Favorite band.

The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Dream Theater, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Radiohead, The Strokes, Rise Against, Rancid is nice, AFI is ok, Gorillaz occasionaly, Arcade Fire, Sublime, Avenged Sevenfold, The Mars Volta, 30 Seconds to Mars, Fort Minor has some good songs, and Atmosphere is a great rapper.

I usually hate death/black metal.

Some heavy metal, including Disturbed, Metallica, and Judas Priest.

And no. I didn't get those all from Guitar Hero/Rock Band, though I was happy to see them in those games.
Stryker: You're the stalker, right?

Live every day as though it were your last, and some day it will be.
