aight, here is the closer look.
-rope bleeds through the sticks in the back, since they are hollow.
-the rugs bled into each other and into the supports
-paths are wrong, ive attached a fixed version below.
-collision is indeed missing on the top and the sides.
-it crashed my CS :/ it was the same Phong+transparency issue as before, which causes crashes whenever i change something later in nifskope (such as texture paths).
-the rug is two sided. this makes twice as many polygons as needed, the same effect can be achieved with the stencil property.
since i had to pop it into maya to fix the crash i took the liberty of fixing everything else too. ive uploaded the file below. check it, otherwise its done.
it would be cool if you could finish the bridge up next, and then do baskets of fruit/vegetables to sell in the markets.

I'll get on it as soon as I have time: thanks a million for squeezing in this inspection!
I have never been able to get one-sided meshes to import correctly: I need to have a better understanding of NifSkope I guess. I'm glad there are simple ways to cut out tris: since cloth takes so much to look realistic.
I hadn't bothered with too much collision but I did intend to get a better job done than the one in the file: I'll check back in once I take a look at it in max and NifSkope
:EDIT:
ok I had a look in max: but it imported pretty funny...Here's some screens:

And there was a weird display in NifSkope: It looks like explosions of triangles as I rotate the camera around: but the parent tree looks in order so as long as it imports to the CS fine I don't care how it looks on my comp

Otherwise everything looks great to me, its only these weird import bugs that have me stumped. I'm glad we finally have this one under our belts though. I'll go through the bridge tomorrow night if I can (going to a renaissance festival). As I remember it, there were some UVW issues and I still need to optimize the other modulars that I made.
Thanks again for all your help N: I've seemed to be pretty worthless when it comes to the actual Oblivion side of Modding
Cheers to a possible flurry of Winter activity in the OoT department!

the missing triangles are from when i was deleting half the faces, stencil property fixes them. i did however notice that they light weird in the CS, so i may have to redo them
one sided meshes are pretty dang simple. just make a plain plane (heh) and texture it. then go into nifskope, rightclick the branch, and select Node> Attach Property > niStencilProperty. Under the block details, double click Draw Mode, change it to DRAW_BOTH
enjoy the renfair. i expect youve got the appropriate attire?
