Good Morning Tamriel Rebuilt!
So... I'm just a big fan of what you guys are doing, especially with Morrowind, and was wondering if there was any updates sense July 13. 2009, about maybe when Map 3 will be released or even full Map 1? Are things going pretty slow recently? Must be hard, morrowind is sliding more and more into history, but it's still my favorite game. Anyways, just saying hi and trying to encourage you guys a little bit i guess. Thanks for all your hard work.

thank you for the appreciation. We did have an update in august on our blog, but yes there hasn't been much news. This is kind of a good thing though because we aren't ready for a release and the only other time we make news posts is when someone enters or leaves the core. We've been getting a lot of these threads lately... maybe I should make ANOTHER news post that says "Just because there is no news doesn't mean we are dead"...

Jonarus, please refrain from posting when drunk.
@Night, I don't mean to sound harsh. We do appreciate the sentiment, no matter how often we receive it.

we are hoping for another release of map 1 and 2 by the end of the year I think. I've been kind of out of the loop lately, only handling topical matters, so I don't know 100%.

End of the year is optimistic with the extent of RL business a lot of key players have right now. Not impossible, but optimistic.
The next release you'd see from us will be the quested (in the style of current Map 1) Map 2, with a few bonus quests in Map 1, in the form of our new merged TR_Mainland.esm.
After that, probably Map 3 (which will this time come with all misc quests at the time of release, but no factions), and then a final 'House Telvanni' release covering Maps 1 and 2 and including the 'main quest' of Map 1 and a fully playable House Telvanni questline. That would probably be the final release of Maps 1 and 2.
(After that we'd be looking at a Factions/Indoril release of Map 3, and the initial (all miscs) release of Map 4)

I just wanted to say you people at TR are AWESOME! Everything you guys create is BEAUTIFUL and GLORIOUS! I started this thread wishing for an update, but seeing as how many claims you guys have completed, I can see that you guys are moving along at a very good speed and just wait after MAP 3 you guys are around HALF DONE WITH MORROWIND MAINLAND!!! (kinda) THAT'S CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION! There is a lot more to do, but I have deep respect for you guys, and if I knew how to mod i'd join. Thank you all. You may have placed 4th in that magazine, but you're #1 in my book. Keep it up!

One of the many uses for the showcase system is to learn how to mod. All of us started with no modding knowledge, and gained skills during our time here.

I've dabbled in modding. I've even tried to get into "blender". And I know morrowind, being a set system, is drastically easier then that. I've dabbled with morrowind modding, I just don't think i'm that great. If I joined Tamriel Rebuilt, I'd probably join quests, because I know a lot about story telling. Which is why I love Morrowind, because Morrowind is an amazing story, one of the best. The story of Morrowind beats Oblivion out by a long shot. But even though I'm interested, I just havent found 1. the time and 2. the modivation to start a showcase. But I will probably always be here, annoying you guys with stupid questions about Mainland Morrowind. It's just truly amazing what you guys are doing, coming from no money, pure time and effort, to creating landmasses bigger then the original game, and filling it with great gameplay. I have deep respect for TR and I wish you the coninual success that I know you guys will get.

please use the edit button in the future. Also, this topic was rather dead, and didn't need to be brought back.
