Easter Eggs/seecrets in Tamriel Rebuilt
I was just looking through the book section in the CS when I saw the Captains Guide to the Fishy Stick and it made me think, will Tamriel Rebuilt have any secrets/easter eggs like this?

I remember finding one of the treasure hunt chests in Telvannis and wondering what to do with it. It didn't seem quest related, and I couldn't unlock it with the console, so in the end I just left it. Not sure if that counts as a secret.

Those treasure chests are opened by one of the random crap keys you can pick up randomly in loot. Find all the keys and you can open all those chests.
Most modders seem to add an easter egg of their own from time to time. Sometimes they are quite blatant (eg: the modder Onoria named the tower in Marog "Tel Onoria"), and other times discrete.
Some people also use other stuff for inspiration in their claims, which is easter egg-y. I once made a shipwreck claim where I drew the idea of the crew from One Piece all meeting a horrible and untimely end.

I do not know if I made any easter eggs, but I am certain that I added quite a few stupid jokes in some of my interiors. I think they might amuse some players.

If you are going to do something, it has to be a little classier and more subtle than that.Cupa Jango wrote:Hmmm... maby my next interior should have something like the ring of Jangofication hidden in it with a magical effect of some sort...
Too much obvious self-gratification looks unprofessional (and pretty much is, too).

Hey, you remember that giant, sprawling made-up great house with tons of dialog, right? The one that we missed for like two years somehow? I have no idea what that was doing there.

that was on an old version of map 5. It doesn't count as an easter egg because the person actually thought it was alright.

yes. I swear, every time that place is described, I hear something new and crazier than last time.
