Hey people, ive modelled a rock in 3DS max and exported it to OBJ then imported it to NIFskope, and basically what im trying to do it make the model ive made use a texture thats all ready in the game
The reason is because its just a different shape of a mold rock im making
Now i want to know is there anyway i can tell nifskope what .dds to use or what?
Ive unpacked the texture i need and applied it to the model just to check it all works, but i cant seem to get the texture to display in nifskope or TESCS
Any advice is appreciated
EDIT: Any ideas what im doing wrong or what im missing?

if its not displaying in nifskope the path is wrong (or there is something wrong with your model). if your model is totally new, you sometimes have to double click the field where the texture name goes in the block details and pretend to edit it by hand. then just select out of it and pick your texture like normal. if that doesnt work make sure all your texture properties are set up correctly.

Yeah, make sure in Options/Preferences/Settings you've seen the texture file path/directory detection to the proper folder.
