A few questions...

Post by zacmanthedamned »

I've just got a few questions I'd like to know... (Relating to MW TR)
1) Will Sload be in TR?
2) Mournhold is shown on the Faction Map on the main page. Does this mean that the entrance to Mournhold will be placed on the mainland?
3) What about the Emperor Crabs? I think I heard that they were extinct, or that they were really far out in the ocean. If the latter is accurate, will they be created for the mod?
4) Will there be any Avakir in the Morrowind mods?
5) In Telvannis, the player gets to enter an outer realm created by the Telvanni Archmagister. Will there be other such outer realms in the game?

Thanks for any answers :D I'll try post any other questions I have in this thread.

1) Not as far as I've heard, though if they are it would be in Dres territory which is many years out yet. I'd say the chances are very nearly zero, though. (Although Sload the forum member/ex-Head of Lore heavily influenced the majority of the mod's content).

2) Obviously yes. Mournhold is a real place, and exists in the world. It's the central part of Morrowind's capital, Almalexia.

3) Not a chance. Creatures are a pain in the ass to create as it is. The chances of anyone on this mod creating giant crabs that are extinct in lore are zero.

4) No. There's relatively little lore dealing with Akavir and its inhabitants, and acting on any of it would require a huge amount of work for very little gain. Morrowind is the focus of the mod, not Akavir.

5) Yes.

1. I don't know what you exactly mean. Do you mean will the sload race be in TR or is the hon member Sload still active? There will probably be no sload races in Tr, because they are difficult to make it. Besides a new model, they need seperate clothes and separates animations. The member sload is always active for TR.
2. The gates at the plaza Brindisi Dorom will be connected with some gates at Almelexia.
3. I don't believe Tr will add them.
4. I don't think so. Creating an akavir will require too many work. I don't believe an Akavir would live in Mw now ( at the time of nerevarine). Thee used to be a few akaviri in MW.
5. I don't know, the quest department (like faalen) could tell you more.

3. There are dead emperor crabs scattered throughout TR-Morrowind. You can find them underwater.

5. There are 3 major pocket realms which the PC will be able to explore.

Just "for the record," there is a Sload mesh that was released as a resource. Two screenshots. This is a thread about it.

I think adding sload is probably a little out of scope for TR, though.

Just realised, Avakiri can't exist... Found a book yesterday that explains they were all eaten by Vampire snakes

Man, they ARE vampire snakes.

More precise: The Tsaesci are described as a race of serpents.

Edit: This article seems informative: http://www.imperial-library.info/akavir/index.shtml
Edit 2: This one is also interesting: http://www.imperial-library.info/fsg/adanorcilarticle2.shtml

...I don't know why I am even posting this, since it has nothing to do with TR.

Okay, a couple more questions...
1) Will there be any Ayleids, or references to them? (Daggerfall BOK00003.txt, Morrowind BK_WildElves)
2) Will there be Nymphs (Daggerfall, book BOK00021.txt)
3) Will there be other God-type beings, E.G. Reymon Ebonarm (Daggerfall BOK00067.txt)
4) Will Morrowind contain quests for Daedra Lords not in the original game? (Nocturnal, Clavicus Vile, Hermaeus Mora, Meridia, Namira, Peryite, Sanguine [unless the MT quests are counted] Vaermina) Or will these be left out like in vannila?

Thanks again for any answers.

1) I think we have Ayleid ruin; made using the Necrom set.
2) Probabily not, since they aren't very "Morrowindy"

Thanks, I didn't think the Nymphs would be. What about 3 & 4?

No to both. They aren't appropriate to the location.

Thanks, I woulda thought the Dunmer would love Meridia. Also, another Question... This has probably been asked before, but what's going to be done about the fact that Morrowind touches the black marsh? Tamriel kinda all sticks together...

its not our fault if people travel into provinces we aren't making. Most borders have some sort of natural boundary about them, and where there isn't then I guess it will just stop. We've already got a few passes made. (one into cyrodiil and one into skyrim) They are gated closed and have winding paths leading to nothing on the other side.

One small question. Will simple bank system be in the big city, for example Almalexia, Narsis or on Hlaalu territory?

I think there is an interior for a loan shark somewhere in Narsis, but players can carry infinite amounts of gold without getting mugged or pickpocketed, so a bank system might not be that useful.
