On Hammerfell
Moderators: Haplo, Lead Developers
I hope you'll continue your other projects.
It had been a perennial fear of mine that TES4 might sap the Morrowind project. I can't say I'm happy to see Hammerfell aborted, but hopefully you can now refocus your efforts on TES3.
You really do put together some incredible work.
Thank you. I look forward to your next release.

Although I was looking forward to exploring Hammerfell, the truth is I rarely play Oblivion, but prefer Morrowind any day of the week. My hope is also for purely selfish reasons that this will focus stretched resources on the Morrowind Province.
I would love to help too, but so far have been unable to open the TR files in the CS.
I think you guys made the right choice, though I am sure it was a tough one.

Well, that sucks, Hammerfell seemed like a great idea, I mean, it's great that LN is continuing it and all; and it does mean that Morrowind will be done quicker... To be honest, why can't Bethesda just make the whole of Tamriel available?? They did it in arena, which was a really old game, yet a bigger game in comparison to TES:III and IV... Methinks theys a getting lazy
LN, if you need help with Hammerfell in terms of concept art, then I'll be glad to help. It's just a shame that I can't use 3DSmax or Blender well enough to help with the modelling.

They calls me the chain saw murderer. Why? Because I break every chain saw I own.

Arena and Daggerfall were mostly randomly generated and very under-detailed. Everything in Redguard, Morrowind Oblivion and probably Battlespire too was placed by hand, so making the whole of Tamriel would take an astronomical amount of time.

Well ya, but if no one ever does it, it will never get done, and as Bethesda seems to be sitting on its hands with regard to the elder scrolls, it has fell to people who don't get payed, and for the most part that never ends well, (as in with a world half done and no where near up to par.) thats why I came back, when I left, I figured no one would miss me, and now I have found that it doesn't matter if no one missed me, If I can add one cup to tamriel, I will have helped in some way, and if you keep adding silver ware sooner or later you will come out with a nice set of dishes.Cathartis wrote:Arena and Daggerfall were mostly randomly generated and very under-detailed. Sorry for the rant
