Request: Morrowind version of the Bayeux Tapestry

Thrignar Fraxix needs something like a Morrowind version of the Bayeux Tapestry for his claim, i3-500-Imp (The castle of Old Ebonheart, for the uninitiated). If you are unfamiliar with the Bayeux Tapestry, shame on you. You can read about it on Wikipedia or elsewhere on the internet. This should be pretty fun from an artistic point of view; you get to design a huge swathe of Morrowind's art and history, and your actual work will literally be actually displayed in a very prominent location in-game. Hope there are some artists up to the task!

Specifically, this quote in that thread:
I wrote:That would be perfect. (A huge tapestry depicting an imperial take on their actions in morrowind thus far)

I think an outline of the key events & characters to be depicted would be handy as a guide.

i guess im gonna have to be the one to do that

before this gets too far of the ground i think it should go without saying that whatever this is, it doesnt look like the bayeux tapestry. at all.

Well the art style and the dimensions will be different at least. Only the historical storytelling and the WTFHuge factors are the important things comparable to the Bayeux tapestry.

Or did you mean in some other way.

This is in no way intended to fit with the request made here - it's just Imperial (Talos) and a tapestry (somewhat) in fitting with the stock Morrowind tapestry style. So yeah, just wanted to post this somewhere

I'd like to try my hand at this, if a pencil drawing is okay (I'm assuming that the idea is for someone else to shoop it into an actual usable texture). I'm thinking something in the style of Trajan's column, though obviously as a tapestry instead of a stone relief.

I'm going to need some more info first, though. Firstly, the outline of key events that was mentioned. I suppose I could use some in-game history books as guides, but some sort of checklist would really be preferable. Secondly, I need to have at least a rough idea of the size and dimensions of the thing.

Also, I must admit that I'm not entirely sure if I'm skilled enough to do this justice, so if someone could take a peek at my dA gallery and give me a thumbs up (or down), that would be great.

Is the tapestry still wanted/needed?
What story should the tapestry depict?
What style is desired?

3 Questions and but perhaps only one answer...

[edit] the link of the claim is not working [/edit]

That is because discussions are underway regarding changing the exterior of the castle. Plans for the interior are on hold until everything is figured out.

Due to these changes, it isn't 100% certain what the needed shape of this would be, so I guess it can't really be worked on. I'll be locking this now.
