Tamriel Rebuilt Artbook - Hammerfell Style

Tamriel Rebuilt recently made the decision to end our work on the Hammerfell project, letting it become its own self-sufficient project apart from our team and website.

However, while it was worked on, we had some incredible and beautiful work done, by anyone's standards. I'm talking, of course, about the concept art produced for the province. Concept art is one of the largely unseen aspects of any project, whether it's a game, a video, or TV show, or a mod like Tamriel Rebuilt... simply because most people never see about it or hear about it unless looking for it intentionally.

This is unfortunate on many levels, since often times the art is infinitely better or more pleasing than anything we could hope to create in the mod. Because of this, and because we aren't willing to let our CAs' work go silently into the night, we've had our Head of Concept Art (Myzel--a talented Concept Artist in his own right) put together an artbook of much of the Hammerfell art done at the project over the years. Although it won't be hosted on a mod website such as PlanetElderScrolls, we like to think of this as a release to the community for their enjoyment, and to let everyone know that artists, too, are modders.

I just looked through the artbook. I already saw a lot of it in the concept art section, but some new things. Anyway, I love it, you guys are artists en this artbook should be seen by every elder scrolls fan (or rpg and art fan for that matter)

What a tribute, you guys are simply amazing! I had never seen the picture of the Rainbow Choir. That was a beautiful look into Redguard history.

at this very moment im printing the entire art book I wish I could get it bound, ill have to just glue it or staple it :/

it is actually theoretically possible to self-publish this thing, though im not entirely sure thats legal and definitely sure its not profitable.

Well believe me, if I had a printing press and some kinda binder (I might get one) I would be printing these things for the entire tamriel rebuilt team, I probably wouldn't even charge, but a printing press is too much for a single book. As to legal they all have credits, and I believe when they posted it in "concept art" forum, they gave their consent for it to be used by Tamriel Rebuilt.
