Well, you could always start out with small claims. I took This as my first claim to get back into modding after a 5 year break.

Alternatively you could make another showcase in a different style and a bit larger.

Which is exactly what I am doing. I won't be done for a little while though, as explained in my previous post.

Alright, back from the trip and resuming work on my showcase. I broke my wrist snowboarding, so I might be going a bit slower than usual, but I'll still try to get it done.

How'd you know!?

haha jk. I was actually going for a front flip, but I caught an edge right as I was going off the jump and didn't get enough rotation so I kinda just stuck my arms out and came down on my wrist... and then my face. haha

Alright so, I've been swamped with school lately, combine that with sports and a broken wrist. I've had almost no time to work on this. Sorry guys, I thought I should at least let you know what's going on. I have a three day weekend coming up so I should (finally) have some time to work on this... granted I don't get a ton of school work to do over the weekend.. *sigh*

Once again, sorry.

No problem man, just take your time. Remember, school should always take priority. TR is a hobby (well, not for some), and if you have a little free time, then the hell, kick back, make some houses, and have a bit of fun. We shouldn't be something that you're worried about not getting back to.

Look forward to seeing some of your stuff, I already said you're a damn good modder, though that was like my first day back fromy my hiatus, so I wasn't totally back into the swing of things. But still, you're a good modder, and good modders just only get better.

Thank you Shapeshiftr.

Alright, update time. I finally got some inspiration and have a pretty sweet hlaalu shell going. I'm not sure of the size limitations, but it's three story. Not much done, except for some extremely minor cluttering, but it's a start at least. I have to get back to school work, I should have this done by the end of the weekend though, or sooner if I have more time.

Uploading a WIP cause my CS has been acting up lately. I wouldn't even advise downloading it, it literally is just a shell with a couple rugs and one corner of clutter. I guess it's up to you guys though.

Alright, on an unrelated note. Whenever I open the CS and include Tribunal/Bloodmoon with it there are a million warnings that pop up before I can continue. Is there a fix for this?

you can add a yes to all button. Those problems are bethesda's fault and fixing them would lie outside the scope of this mod. (This also means we won't be using any fixes for this. Yes to all makes it a lot easier to deal with though)

Alrighty. Upstairs is complete and now all that's left is the downstairs. I'd say I'm probably about... 50% done maybe.

Uploaded another WIP in the old WIP's spot.

Well of course I finish and the site goes down, but I already knew it was going down so whatever. Anyway done and ready for review, and with the site being down and all it gave me some extra time to check things over so I'm hoping there isn't going to be too many mistakes.

Story behind this... some kind of necromancer who likes to do alchemical experiments?... not really sure. The interior is pretty dark in the CS but I play tested it and it looks about normal, but I was kinda aiming for a darker feel for this one anyway. Anyway, tell me watcha think of it. (:

Your file is strange. I mean realy weird. What the F*** would a necromancer do in a hlaalu interior. It's also underclutterd, and unrealistic looking. You also put some rugs on the desks (weird). Do something in velohi style (tower/tomb as a concept) if you're into necromancers.

I like the rug on the table. It looks pretty good.

There is a bit too little clutter in some rooms, but I think theres because the shell is actually a bit too large for whats its intended to do. There is a lot of space thats pretty much just meant to be walked through with no purpose. Those are hard to clutter with meaningful stuff.

I dont think this shell fits any exterior though, which it should do.

I'm not too familiar with Morrowind lore and how necromancers work, but I was thinking of just someone who worships the dead or tries to bring them back - which could be anyone btw. Not all necromancers have to live in caves or tombs. And like I said in my previous post I'm not sure what kind of interior goes with a specific setting.

I know it's a bit under cluttered, but how is it unrealistic looking? Like its too neat, or what?

Thanks for the feedback.

Well, in Morrowind, necromancy is illegal, so no one practices it in a house, just because of the guards noticing a house with much more ease than they would notice a cave.

Clean: Yes
Gridsnap Used: Yes
Northmarker Set: Yes
Fits Exterior: No
Style mixing: Yes
IllegalToSleepHere: Yes
LightingSettings: Good

Review:

- Your interior does not fit an existing exterior.
- Necromancers do not practice necromancy in houses, they will stay in caves far away from rural areas.
- The house is very much undercluttered
- The house looks like a poor storage area. Keep containers in a confined space/corner (can be two areas as well) and utilize the other areas with benches, tables and so on.
- You have too few tapestries, the hallways are very empty.
- You have used a com_chandelier and two com tables, that is considered style mixing in a 'de' interior.
- You did a fairly good job with rotation and placement on poor surfaces, well done! Some of the plates aren't done right however.
- Don't use ingredients as plants, there are plants enough to select from.
- bk_BookDawnAndDusk and bk_ConsolationsOfPrayer are religious books, not necromancy books.

Comments:
You definately have potential. Technically you are fine. But you should clutter a lot better. Try to assign meanings for every room and fill them accordingly, like Bedroom area, Dining Room area, Storage area. I would like to see that you make a new and smaller 2x3 tiles Hlaalu interior with either a basement or top floor, and with de_p furniture only. Give the interior a theme, like commoner, farmer, wizard whatever, but stay clear of necromancy :D

Firstly sorry for sounding too harsh :) the showcase is as Praedator stated technicaly good. I also think it fits an interior (the hlaalu grandmaster on the Odai). Also for necromancer/lone wizard themes look at the velohi towers like the one in Gnisis (Baladas's tower i can't remember the names).

It doesn't fit any exterior whatsoever.
Also for necromancer/lone wizard themes look at the velohi towers like the one in Gnisis (Baladas's tower i can't remember the names).
I requested a 2x3 Hlaalu interior with basement or with a top floor, and not a Necromancer interior.

Yes i was just telling him on what to look for further reference. A tipical int Like the one you requested would be much better for the showcase.

Ok, taken a look over it and it's empty. You need to clutter it and change the light settings. Also don't post the showcase unless it's quite finished because you can have only 3 try's on one interior. Otherwise it's clean and has no problems.
