Even if you can't use me, I feel I should at least try to help in this project.
I'd be comfortable proofreading and writing dialogue. I have experience with proofreading the writings of various levels of English proficiencies, forcing me to expand the way I think about the manipulation of words to express ideas through grammar, punctuation and connotation. I feel more than confident I could be of use in that department.
I would also be fine writing various dialogues. I, admittedly, don't have experience with it, but I can manipulate language in interesting ways to fit what people need. I have working knowledge of dialects, and would be able to implement that in a fashion if seen fit (though not many characters in Morrowind hold a distinctive dialect...)

You mention that you would be fine writing dialog. Would you have any interest in learning how to actually implement it in game? Not much dialog is written by anyone other than the person coding the quests or creating the NPCs. I started to pick it up a few years ago and didn't think it was too hard to figure out, we have a few tutorials to help with anything that you can't figure out yourself, and we have helpful skilled members who can help as needed. The only reason I didn't finish learning dialog is because of RL interference.
Anyway, this is a rambling long post but I am basically saying, welcome to the project and we'll help you learn what you can't figure out yourself. (in any field, not just dialog)

There isn't really a test, it is more along the lines of "try and do it on your own and using a tutorial, we will answer any questions you ask and review what you make"
