Necrom light-tower

Hi, is the Necrom light-tower already done ? if not, i'll be able to model it with 3dsmax ... is there anything known about it (that's why i put this thread in 'Lore') ? is it only a tower, or is there a city surrounding it ? how does it look like (maybe somebody's able to post some concept art ;) ) ?

You referring to a lighthouse? If so, and if you're willing to do a dunmer style light house, We'd be very, very grateful! :)

There is allready a lighthouse done.
It's in 3-5.
South to Necrom.
Sorry about that.
But the dunmer lighthouse whould be great though.
If you don't bother with your past history. How do you know where your currently at? It's past what makes us who we are. And who we will be. Ignoring that, is ignoring who we are and where we're going.

thats no problem ;) i didnt want to make the .esp, i just offered a modeling job :) dunmer style ? u think of something like the hlaalu style ?

about the lighthouse yu can see it in the final sequence of the intro ..even if not perfectly visible


i suggest instead for your lighthouse to use a velothi style so that could merge better with all the dunmer styles

Here's a preview ... took me 'bout 4 hours to plan it :shock: i think windows and stuff should be added in the TES CS :P it has got 6 edges and it's made out of a perfect hexagon (i started with the tower with the 6 windows) im now working on the interior statics, stay tuned ....

That lighthouse looks very nice MomoX :D We could certainly use another talented modeller around these parts. If you're interested in doing some more modelling after you do this cool lighthouse, checkout the Creatures and Models forum. Thats where most of our modellers hangout.

On a side note, I believe Majra is currently doing a lot of work with Indoril architecture, so feel free to checkout his threads. Happy Modding! :)

i finished the lighthouse and made some ingame screenshots. i kept it as simple as possible, so details can be added in the CS (note that the velothi braziers dont belong to my mesh !). after your feedback, i'll post the .nif files :wink:.

Looks good Momox :). It'll look great with some Indoril doors and windows on it. :D

Kothloth has created a number of Indoril models in the past, and right now Majra is working on a bunch of Indoril buildings, including a monestary. If you're looking for ideas you may try asking him, or anyone else in the creatures and models forum.

I like the lighthouse exterior very much . . . perhaps you could add a few levels on the interior, and it definately needs a bit of decorating, but that could be left to each individual mod to which it's added. Good work here.

I am guessing you would do it anyways but you may want to add a bit of base below the door so it can be sunk in the ground (So you don't see water underneath on uneaven landscape.
