Mods for Telvannis

Here at TR we encourage non-TR affiliated modders to make whatever mods they would like based on the mainland. Whether you want to add a house to Port Telvannis or bring your favorite realism/atmosphere mod to Firewatch, it's up to you. Some mods of this type have already been created and so I've compiled here a list of such third party mods that are dependent upon and work on the mainland.

Tamriel Rebuilt/Herbalism by tek_604
This mod extends Balor's [url=http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=1974]Herbalism Mod[/url] to include the flora of Tamriel Rebuilt's Telvannis. This means that you can take ingredients from plants with a single click, without having to "open" them.

Tamriel Rebuilt/Necessities of Morrowind by tek_604

This plug-in is incompatible with the current release, v2.0

Abot's Water Life Tamriel Rebuilt add-on by Abot
Abot's water life adds additional excitement to the watery areas of Morrowind with additional creatures and scripted effects. This mod extends those effects out onto the coasts of the mainland and adds additional TR creatures.

Firewatch Character Generation by Garif
This mod makes changes the location of character generation from Seyda Neen to Firewatch, an Imperial settlement in the Telvannis region.

TR Shack by Trunksbomb
This mod adds a shack for the player to use in the Molagreahd region at cell (21,21). Inside the shack there is a bedroll for sleeping, some crude shelves for display, a table, and ample crates for storage.

This mod adds TR-made creatures and items to leveled lists, ensuring that you will be able to find such items on Vvardenfell as well as on the mainland.

TR Firewatch Farmhouse by Trunksbomb
This mod adds a small farmhouse east of Firewatch. The house isn't much, but it sure does beat having nothing. There's a nice half-wrap-around porch with some seating, a bedroom, bay windows, some display places upstairs, and plenty of storage in the basement. Outside, there are 9 corkbulb roots growing that you can pick.

TR Ranyon-Ruhn House by Trunksbomb
This mod adds in a small-to-medium sized home in Ranyon-Ruhn across from the bar and next to the guard house, featuring a fully furnished dining area, a study, a fully carpeted bedroom and a large storage area with plenty of chests and tables for display. You must first purchase the house from its inhabitant, a lone dark elf eager to get out and explore the world.

Signy Signposts(!) - TR Map 1: Telvannis by Earth_Wyrm
This is a mod which provides new meshes and high-resolution textures for the signposts on the Tamriel Rebuilt landmass Map 1 (Telvannis), making them easily readable from a distance.

To be used alongside TR Map 1 Public Version 2.0 - revisions will follow as necessary.

Telvannis Comes Alive by Aeven
This adds the random NPCs of Morrowind Comes Alive to TR Map 1's settlements. Expect a more lively Port Telvannis for example. All random NPCs were placed by hand, where I thought they fit best. Port Telvannis is now much more alive, as are other cities. Travelers arrive at ports, merchants sell things at town squares, people visit shops.
Future versions may refine the amount and location of NPCs.

A reminder: this requires both Morrowind Comes Alive 5.2 and TR Map 1: Telvannis.

Morrowind Crafting for TR Map 1 v2.0 by Kovacius
This patch extends Morrowind Crafting to the Mainland by adding MC compatible resources, equipment, vendors, and trainers throughout TR Map 1.

NOM Compatibility for TR Map 1 v2.0 by Mistress Miaura
The mod brings Necessities of Morrowind compatibility to the Tamriel Rebuilt Telvannis lands latest beta (TR Map1 beta 2) via Taddeus and Nymerias modders resource NOM compatibility pack. It has been tested to work with NOM 2.12. It should however work fine with earlier versions of NOM and without NOM.
If you should use it without NOM, you will not get the NOM functions, such as hunger and thirst, but you will get new vendors and ingredients, drinks etc. around Telvannis.

Scroll Upgrade Fix TR Map 1 by Osiris
This patch adds compatibility between Schwaa's Scrolls Upgrade and Tamriel Rebuilt Map 1 - Telvannis. Due to some cell names changes, at the moment this mod is not compatible with the updated version of Map 1 contained in the new Map 2 download, but only with the standalone version of Map 1.

A set of rope bridges that connect Vvardenfell to Telvannis can be found just east of Tel Mora. For those who like to get around on foot or horseback.

Molagreahd House by Trunksbomb
In this mod, a small home can be found in the Molagreahd Region, near the opening of a valley. Specifically, the house is located at cell 16,19, which is north west of Firewatch.

A unique house mod with a short but detailed quest to unravel the mystery of the previous owner.
Lots of storage, unique dialog, scripted events, one new weapon.

TR Map 1 Connection

Re: TR Map 1 Connection. I'm guessing that this plug-in is now entirely obsolete, but since no mention is made in the read me file of transport on the mainland, I thought I would ask. Are there silt striders and river striders in this new version? Guild guide transport?

Such things already existed, just not in sensible quantities.

Anyway, now every form of transport added by the connection plug-in has been added in to this latest file. (Except a boat from Firewatch to Port Telvannis)

There never were a boat from FW to PT in my plugin, however there was a silt strider tower in FW which has not been adopted on the reasoning that Firewatch is trying hard to be a bastion of Cyrodiilism and rejects local Morrowind things whenever it can.

Anyway, the connection plugin is no longer available, so as to avoid confusions and weird problems.



Also, completely unrelated, but Lud, you should update your sig at the BGS forums. :)

I made two travel maps for Telvannis and I added them to every trader that sells books in Telvannis. This is only the first version, I plan to improve it greatly and I also will make a spoiler map which shows all the dungeons. The names of the maps are: The Telvanni Lands: East and West.

this plugin has several errors. Altar is missing in the Imp Cult; mesh conflict between 2 pieces where the door is.

You should talk to the creators of the plug-ins about errors. I doubt they check here. Some might not even know this list exists.

TR1 Mods - Morrowind Crafting iron ore

I notice that the second beta consolitated the two conflicting types of iron ore in the first beta, and now it only uses the one type. That's a positive, except that now I'm going to have to change it all to the other type.

Question is: do any of the quests use that iron ore, or can I safely convert it to an MC equivalent?

Aside from that, is there any use for the present ore type besides gathering it and selling it (such as another crafting mod I don't recognize)?

This patch extends Morrowind Crafting to the Mainland by adding MC compatible resources, equipment, vendors, and trainers throughout the TR1 map.

Includes MC_FishingRod_4Abots.esp patch, which allows you to make Fishing Rods for use with Abot's Water Life instead of the generic fishing poles.

I updated my Telvannis Comes Alive mod, not complete as it will be, but much more than it is now.

Also, in the MGE thread at the BS forums my latest statics list included TR statics, for all maps (except 6)

@Lud: you should delete that "Tamriel Rebuilt/Necessities of Morrowind by tek_604" from your post, as it's not compatible with the current version of Map 1.

There are a number of compatibility issues between the latest Map1 beta (included with Map2) and several of the existing mods.

MC_for_TR1v09 generates a couple of errors, mainly a dialog error where an NPC was removed from the most recent map. The mod is still usable otherwise, if you choose to continue. I will make an updated (and hopefully finalized) version after the Map1 final release. A Map2 MC extension beta is also "in the works", and should be available shortly after the first quested beta for Map2.

TR Ranyon-Ruhn House gave a couple of error messages due to a couple of resources having been removed from the latest .bsa file. It still seems to work, except for generating error messages every time you enter R-R, and possibly a couple of missing windows on the house facade.

Nice! :] Very, very long ago we used to have a series of bridges as well, based on the Arena map. It had been removed for not making much sense (it logically prevented boats from entering the Inner Sea) and affecting the Vanilla land too much; but it's great to see it's back as a mod. (Bridge is much higher now. I guess some boats may be able to pass. Probably not MadMax's galleon, though.)

Annoyed you couldn't BRPatch your Tamriel Rebuilt books and use Book Rotate with all the loot from Firewatch? Well, now you can.

This fix adds Book Rotate scripts to over 90% of books added by Tamriel Rebuilt, that is, all closed books (next update will have the scripts working on open books too). Enjoy.

I have updated Map 2's mod list with Dragon's link, as it contains Map 1 and Map 2, and this is for Map 1-only mods.

In this mod, a small home can be found in the Molaghread Region, near the opening of a valley. Specifically, the house is located at cell 16,19, which is north west of Firewatch.
This house features nothing outstanding; a well for NoM compatibility and a hand written note on the outside. On the inside, there are a few containers for storage, a little kitchen, a fireplace and a bed. All the things a simple person such as the previous owner could want.

It should perhaps be noted that Firewatch Character Generation doesn't work with Map2 anymore. Also, the download link is dead.

Or should I get it finished before you add it?

I would recommend finishing it first, that way the link won't need to be updated all the time.

I might be mistaken but I don't think the link needs to be updated if he uploads a new version of his mod on the same page.

He has a point, I have 3 versions on that page atm, with more in the works as I have time. But if you think it would be better to wait until you are finished, it's your call.

I'm using Primary Needs 2.7. Is this compatible with the Tamriel Rebuilt NoM?
