TPA5's Showcase

Post by TPA5 »

Hello there!

I was very excited to see this project, and I would like to offer my humble, and limited abilities to said project. I own Oblivion, and it is the most immersive, expansive, and excellent game I have ever played.

Anyway, I'm offering help in the fields of:

Music - http://www.youtube.com/trepatda

Writing - http://trepat.deviantart.com/gallery/#Misc-Sci-Fi-Stories

Editing Dialogue Tracks
- I could also learn to add them to the game, if someone could point me to a tutorial?

Sound Effects - I can record + gather sound effects, and edit them.

Proof-Reading - I can proof-read whatever you need.

Textures - I can normal-map them.

Quest Writing - If needed, I could learn to write quests.

And that's about it. Hopefully I can help you guys out!

Post a sample of your work, preferably something that shows proficiency with Morrowind-style work, with regard to skills like sound and writing. If you go to the Main->Tutorials page on this website, you might find a thing or two on dialogue. There should be some dialogue info under questing tutorials. If I recall correctly, Literature is not something you can get promoted for unless you get promoted for a different field, like sound or quests. Quest writing would be amazing; last time I checked it's one of the slowest-moving departments of this project. However, you don't have to be a TR Modder to design quests.

Do you own Morrowind, by the way? TR's Oblivion project was made a separate project a while back; I think Lady Nerevar is the one you want to talk to if you want to help with Oblivion. Otherwise it would be ideal to buy Morrowind if you don't already have it, so that you can familiarize yourself with it.

Anyway, welcome to TR, I hope you find something(s) that you enjoy. We're here to help, so just post some work, ask a question, and hopefully a skilled modder will come by and give advice.

Lady Nerevar is indeed the lead of the now seperate "Hammerfell Mod" for Oblivion. I am also actively involved in it, and am as such more than happy to field questions.

Of course, if it is Morrowind you want to work on, than someone will no doubt 'review' your work in due course.
