Merging TR with mainquest
For the beginning - I'm sorry if something will sound stupid, wrong gramma etc. That's because english isn't my native language, sorry .
OK, let's start. The target of whole TR project is - i think - rebuilding Morrowind mainland, am I right? Doesn't matter... So, if you are going to add WHOLE Morrowind Province, that should affect main quest of "Vvardenfell" I think. You know - there are prophecy about Nerevarine, but, come on, body of St. Nerevar is in Necrom, I read about it somwhere in TIL, don't remember where. There are now five Great Houses, not three - Indoril and Dres will come up. It should affect mainline I think - this whole Hortator stuff, prophecies etc. What I want to say - are you going to merge story of Nerevarine from the game with this whole new mainland in TR? Somehow?
Sorry for noobish question .

Well the problem is that many people who are downloading TR will have already completed the MQ, but if you want you could edit it as a personal project I suppose.
I guess there will be quests and stuff relating to things like the Nerevar in Necrom, but I'm guessing they'll be seperate from the main quest.

Warning: may contain large amounts of sarcasm.
Myzel- We never actually see slaves working on Vvardenfell either. They're always just standing there. If you ask me they deserve a good whipping.

TR does not edit any of the original game's content with a few exceptions I think, and editing of the main quest would most likely not merit as one of those exceptions. However, someone may create a plugin separate from the project that edits the main quest as they see fit, and you are welcome to do this. Our current head of the quest department made a plugin that allowed the player to travel between Seyda Neen and the mainland, which you may have heard of. Mods like these do not interfere with the integrity of TR, so again, they are always welcome.

Are you serious ? What kind of silly joke is that ?Why wrote: we will have a bonewalker of Nerevar in Necrom
I mean, isn't a bonewalker supposed to be a restless spirit forced to remain on earth by his clan to protect the grave because of his bad behavior while he was leaving ?
What's more, that would really break the interest the player gets in seeking the truth about Nerevar and never really getting it. And why the hell should such a hero end as a bonewalker ?
No, that would suck. I hope it's a joke. I really hope so.

It's actually official lore (check Nerevar's triolith), and you misinterpret the role of a bonewalker; but it's up to fate if we ever get to implement it, and indeed we'd only do it if it didn't end up silly.
And because this is one of those 'hot topics' that sporadically pop up and cause ill-founded controversy, let's just leave it at that, please. No more discussion really needed.

a man builds a city
with Banks and Cathedrals
a man melts the sand so he
can see the world outside
"They destroyed Morrowind? Fiddlesticks! Now we're going to have to rebuild it again!"

Michael Kirkbride- like Lady N said, he's one of the guys who worked on Morrowind and helped add a lot of the more odd parts of the gameworld. Vivec is practically an alter-ego of his.
"If a hermaphroditic, bug-armored, bipolar god-king existing in multiple universes who has his very own bible with *actual* magic strewn throughout it is your idea of a cliche, then I really would like to live in your world." -MK

actually, we said that the nerevarine is a Vvardenfel thing.
If it makes you feel any better, I made this same thread a year or two ago.
Now I am going to lock this.
SUMMARY:
Nerevarine is Vvard specific.
Nerevar was given the great honor of becoming a bonewalker.
