A variation on Soule's theme

Hello everyone at TR,

It's been ages since I last shown my head around here, but I was toying around with my synth and kinda figured out some kind of variation on Soule's theme for the Elder Scrolls. I don't even know if it's legal to use the tune, but I figured I should upload it.

So, it doesn't yet fade in nicely, ends very weird, hasn't got any brass or percussion in it so far but I think the idea is there.

Anyways, take a listen I'd say. Quite anxious what you guys think of it.

By the way, good to see you guys still going, playing a bit around in map2 now, its awesome!

The overall volume could be a tad louder, but I like it

To me it sounds like finally music, like for the rolling credits, or music for something dramatic like a death of someone. Its pretty good eitherway 8)

btw do you have a link to the original song you said you'd made the variation off? I'm interested to hear a comparison.

The original song is copyrighted so he couldn't post here. You might be able to listen to part or all of it at Jeremy's website, though.

Hmmm.... it starts off a little abruptly, and the main melody is difficult to hear. But I love the strings you used. Try a bit more variation.

What was the program you used?
