Done everything but meshes WILLNOT LOAD!! - SOLVED

Post by Guest »

Hey everybody

I read the post about what to do if the meshes will not load when you go to the major cities and followed the steps exactly. Then i started up morrowind after enabling the apropriate data files. but when i atempted to go to firewatch all the error messages apeared again untill the enevitible "morrowind will carsh" messege apeared and i crashed.

I looked at some other threads and checked all my bsa files and everything was in proper but it still will not work no matter what i do.

any help apreciated.

P.S. when i load my save i get the messege; unable to locate referance for global script 'dhser_PlantCounter'.

Have you ensured TR_Data.bsa has been added to Morrowind.ini? Instructions on how to check and remedy the situation can be found here: http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?t=20355

Also ensure that you only downloaded and enabled the Antediluvian Secrets download; that came bundled with an updated and modern version of Map 1, and may cause conflicts if you installed the first Map 1 release in addition to it.

that first error message is not related to TR, you might be having some other conflicts.

What other mods do you have installed and running Neo?

dhser_PlantCounter error occurs when you remove the Balmora Expansions mod. I know, I use it often enough. Start a new game with no mods other than TRs then add other mods and this should fix the problem.

Then you haven't actually been editing the .ini file I suspect. Vista likes to keep people from doing hat.

If what Thrig said is the cause, try registering the .ini again by right clicking > Run as Administrator, it usually works for my Vista pains.

I usually find it easier to manually edit the .ini than waste time faffing around with bsareg.
