MGE distant land

So ive been using MGE for like 3 weeks and i try to set up distant land and the installer gets done. so i boot up morrowind with no fog and it still only sees like 2 cells max so any advice on how to fix that?

Hey scamp helped alot but ive downloaded the newest version of MGE 3.8.0 and have done everything but when i atempt to start the game i get an error messege that says it cant find the mge settings file although i can clearly locate it where it should be. ive tried disabling everything but the messege still returns please help me

Do you have Vista? I know you've said you've disabled everything, but have you also disabled user accounts control? That might be the problem if you haven't already disabled it.

Ok so i have disabled acount control or whatever but i found the problem. it seemed that during the distant land wizard the file concerning the settings for settings was doubled then moved to a fil in data files so after delteing one file everything worked out just fine so mge now works fine and morrowind looks amazing.
