TR team,

I read about your mod and wanted to try it out. After downloading the first and second map(for morrowind)I tried to unzip? the files for map 1 into the game. After about a day of trying(I am not very computer savvy)I finally re-installed the game and when it loaded, I got a bunch of ERROR messages. Finally, the game crashed. I hope even though I am not a member I will be assisted.

John.

Concise instructions:
1) Install the game and both expansion packs
2) get a program able to unpack 7z files (ideally 7zip itself)
3) unzip the whole package into your Morrowind directory
4) Run the bsareg.exe program once (you have probably forgotten to do this)
5) check the needed data files and enjoy

If you are using Vista, follow the previous instructions but right-click the bsareg.exe and select run as administrator.

TR team,

I do not have vista. My computer is 2005 Windows xp media center. It can run morrowind just fine. I un-installed the game and expansinons and re-installed, and am going to attempt a new download from TES Nexus. I am not sure how to unzip? the file into the game. Should I download map 1 or map 2 first?

Map 2 includes a fixed map 1. I'm really not sure why map 1 is still available...

Anyway, extract it using a program that can handle .7z files.

TR_Data.bsa should be in your datafiles folder (not a subfolder)

TR team,

I put it into the data files and it automaticly creats a "tr data" sub folder. So I accidentally got map 1, which is not needed if I download map 2? I am SO ssorry, computers are hardly my strong point.

ok i would suggest a reinstall of morrowind if you dont have too many mods and by too many i meen over 30 so after you reinstall install tr first but ONLY map 2 (which includes map 1) so to install make sure you merge the data files folder. although i always find it easier to open of the morrowind directory data files folder and open up the data files folder you downloaded and just select everything you downloaded and move it directly into the morrowind data files folder in you directory. after this make sure you run the bsa. update exe. so your game puts everything in the right place. after that just reinstall all of your other mods and be sure to enable it in the start menu of morrowind

reinstalling isn't necessary yet, especially considering I am 90% certain that he isn't extracting it right.

Put the 7z file on your desktop, extract it to a new folder on your desktop, open up the extracted folder until you are in a directory with a folder called datafiles, copy the datafiles folder into your morrowind directory, allow it to overwrite things (nothing is actually being overwritten), try using bsareg which should be in your morrowind directory.

Report back after this as I think you will be fine.

you don't extract the .bsa, you extract the .7z file.

the .bsa should be in the datafiles folder (NOT A SUBFOLDER)

Yes random guest you can join and submit ideas and a showcase is where you would start. Unless of course you are doing concept art in which case you see what we need concepts for and post in the appropriate concept art forums, discussion is welcome.

Be sure to install the Morrowind Code Patch, with its map fix if you want to see the whole landmass in the world map.

Guest, just install the Morrowind Code Patch and the land will show up. Make sure to select the TR Map fix when running the patch, as it's normally unchecked when you install it for the first time.
