Neo, are you sure you're running the right version of Map 1? There are already over 100 awesome quests there. :P

You know what's also popular? Enormous flying cities and ridable dragons. Maybe TR should invest in navigable ships and underwater cities.

You know, you don't have to reply to someone's question if you don't have an answer to give.

Neo, I don't know how extensive your exploration has been, but Map 1's cities have many misc quests that are definitely not boring (Ranyon-ruhn questline is my favorite) as well as fighters guild, mages guild, thieves guild, tribunal temple and house telvanni questlines.

So I'm honestly kinda baffled you haven't found any of those yet. :/ Maybe you do somehow have the wrong version, as osiris suggested. Though I don't know how that could be possible.

here (Spoiler!) is a list of all the quests in the public release.

Many major characters' quests are still being worked on. These include the Duchess and the Telvanni lords.

You not being able to find or join factions is certainly not the same as there being 'basically no quests at all' is it?
If you ask me, you just have to explore a little more before you start making assumptions.

ok i guess i made a blanket statement but i guess by quests i meen quest that are "main" like i dont include fighters guild or mages guild as quests even though the fighters guild has been great so far. maby i should ask when a quest that would involve a major part of the telvannis region like a fight between firewatch athorities and the telvanni or technically a "main" quest for map 1. other than that many of the quests already there are great

The closest thing to a main quest will be the finished great house telvanni line. You can join the great house currently (assuming you aren't a member of any other houses) but it isn't complete.

Port Telvannis, in the council hall is where you can do it IIRC, and it will be done when it is done.

As with everything else we do the Telvanni quest line will be finished when its finished. We are working hard everyday completing new pieces of the puzzle that is Mainland Morrowind. As for joining House Telvanni just explore the cities of map 1 and you will surely find some people talking about joining house telvanni.

EDIT: Damn Ninja's running around...
