New Claymore....needs a name

Post by GT70sgt »

I modeled a weapon for you all....

its some kind of claymore....its not textured..(only with the basic 3ds max ones)

I need someone to help me texture it, I would but my photoshop cs dont work no more...I'll have to get it fixed..

I put a picture in the attachments if you want to see it...

I name I have for it now is Eshira's Claymore...
it needs a better one tho.... : (

I really need someone to help me texture this!
I can send an in game screenshot once it is textured...thats why you all need to help me : )

I still need someone to help me texture it....

I also might change the model a little...just to fix minor errors that I made when modeling it...

I would call it Thunder Strike

ok that could work

not bad of a name, but I think that we need to come up with more and vote for em...

it may change once I have a texture for it....unless we tell the person that so gladly wants to help me texture this weapon to texture they way so it looks like a thunder strike sword....

we could give it some sorta lightning enchanting....

I changed the model a little to make the purple handles a little smoother...so they dont look like blocks like they do in the picture..

I also loaded it into the game and it looks great besides it has no real textures... : (

its ok I got that problem fixed...someones helping me...

Is it possible to show us a new picture? With these new forums we can't attach anything anymore. :(

ok here is the pic...of the new model...not much different tho I did smooth it a little...to make it look better....that did rack up the polys though.

btw...I dont really like these new fourms compared to the new ones...but I guess they are ok lol

ohh on my model...when I put it in the game...with the max textures and all...it kinda looks like its too square-like and stuff...I dont know if it is because all of the other models in the game are triangulated...but if someone knows the reason why that would help me

cool idea. dont mesh smooth that basically more than doubles ur polycount i think.
instead use the surface smooth in the Polygon Edit mode under the Surface rollout.

that will help make items look less blocky and keep polys down to a minimum
