Why the black hand? I'd have gone for a more Necrom specific one, like the drawings by Lutemoth (check his CA thread).

I thought they look more like painting, than hard edged tattoos, that's why I didn't used them.
(the hand is based on his necrom saint olms btw :) )

Do women have tattoos in morrowind? I thought it was a male only thing. Would it be possible to make the design a scar, like those funny bumps a lot of chicks have? Carving the symbol of a saint into your head sounds pretty sweet to me.

One of the women faces has a blueish tattoo :P

Scars sounds cool, but I think a complex picture would be too much imho. I'l wait for some more opinions.

I'll ask Adan for his opinion too, because the hand is Tribunal symbolism if I'm not mistaken, and he wanted to focus more on the ancestral stuff for Necrom.

I have threw away the hand idea. The question is: can dunmer women have big black tattoos on their face?

No. Because there's only 1 instance of a dunmer with a black "tattoo" and he's male.

Yes. because The black in the tattoo is scarification with ash rubbed into it enabling the would-be-wise-woman to better communicate with the ancestors.

Well? Are black tattoos okay? Are these tattoos okay? Or something else?

I'm not sure such a woman with such a high function should have a tattoo. Tattoo's in general shouldn't be too bad for your typical run of the mill NPC, but I'm less sure about adorning high ranking NPCs with tattoo's.

I think Nalin meant to say that tattoos are okay (combining his post with Sload's principles of lore) and I agree. These, however, look really sharp and contrast quite badly with the texture of the face, me thinks. Atm I'd say that the tattoo-less face is better.

I'd say they need to look more neatly done and elegant to fit such an important person. Also, putting it in the center of the forehead looks best to me.

I'm trying to make them sharp and smooth at the same time, but héw much I try with the reduction of the image size it'll be always very pixely... :(

I'll try to find something else, Lutemoths Necrom banners just dosen't work well for a tattoo imho.

Hy everyone!

I'm back again, and although I don't have as much free time, as a few years back, I'm willing to help.

First question first:
Shall I complete the dres and indoril clothing palette?
Originally Morowind had 2 common shirt/robe, and 1 extravagant shirt/robe for every Great House.

Until now, I've uploaded these:

Indoril:
  • 2 indoril common shirt
    the extravagant robe and shirt
Dres:
  • 1 common dres robe
Well... still missing 2 indoril robe, and the majority of dres items. Green light, or should I wait for some interior claims? :D (please no heads atm, and as I see Ashstaar did some awesome things lately)

How does this look? I know it's too green for Indoril, but I want to hear some input on the design itself

I do kind of like it, but something I'd really love to see is some expensive/extravagant Indoril robes with decoration like the extravagant Indoril shirts we have in TR_Data, for some of the Indoril councilors and nobles. This one looks like a decent "expensive" robe, once the color scheme is adjusted.

Also, for the more upper class robes, try adding some Tribunal-related ornaments, or maybe a quotation from the Book of Dawn and Dusk in Daedric. They're very pious folk so a robe that's almost Temple-style wouldn't look bad on them, especially when it's visibly ornamented to reflect their wealth and in the Indoril color scheme.

I do hope someone with a better idea for style/modeling etc comes along though, those are not my strong points at all.

I imagined this to be an Indoril specific common robe :) Ofcourse it could be easily modified to be more stylish, althoug I think it would be logical to have a full set of clothes for House Indoril, just like the vanilla houses.

(Btw I have no access to my computer until friday)

I really like this as an Indoril common robe, fwiw.

Banks and Cathedrals
a man melts the sand so he
can see the world outside

Looking nice!
First one's smirk is familiar, but I remember that particular face has at least one retext already in TR and it didn't seem weird ingame.
