Hello!
First of all, I'd like to commend you for this mod. For a guy that's finished every single quest in Morrowind/Tribunal/Bloodmoon and Oblivion, this is a most welcome refreshment.
I have a problem though. I've finished the long quest line with the Nord fiance and the inquisition to get the location of the perfect blade (again, it's a great job you did joining most of that town's quests together) and the Nord guy revealed it. He also gave me some potions.
I swam to the wreck site and found it. It was creepily stashed in the deeps. Swam to the ship itself hoping for a quick find-and-loot, but then is where my troubles started.
I went to the lover deck where all the skeletons are, but once I entered, I couldn't move from my place, I couldn't find an exit (so without a divine intervention packed, I'd drown), and I couldn't reach or even find the key with the given potions.
Is it bugged, or was I unprepared?
How do I finish this quest?
Thank you in advance!

Hi. I am the one who designed and implemented the Gah Sadrith quests so 1) thank you for your acknowledgement in the first place and 2) I hope I will provide the most competent answer to your questions.
I believe this is an interior error, which preexisted before the actuall quest implementation. It is not impossible to get from the lower deck, but due to the special static placement and weird angle of the wreck, you have to acces the trapdoor from slightly unnatural direction to be able to activate it. None of other playtesters did complain about this particular problem, so it is not a major one, but probably the interior design should be addressed and fixed (maps 1 and 2, however are full of such sloppiness, due to the lower standards during old days of TR).
As to the location of the key. Originally it was placed behind the crates at the very end of the ship. That is why you were supposed to use your detect key and telekinesis potion (also given to you by Mjording) to obtain the key (I tested this myself manytimes and it worked with no problem). But then current head of quests decided this is too hardcore and placed the key in to the skeletons hand - not directly in the skeleton container, but above its open palm, so it was still detectable by using the potion.
The trunk is in the cabin behind a bookshelf. That is where you need to use the telekinesis potion now.
Some say the sword is brutally owerpovered, but I believe concerning how HARD actually is to get it, some silver longsword with firedamage enchantment simply would not do. You can still get your ass kicked easily even when you use it.
Have fun playing TR.
EDIT: Reading more carefuly through your post - you should be able to swim in the lower deck, albeit with difficulties. Is your character an High Elf? If you are unable to move the interior does need fixing, but you are the first one to report actuall impossibility to move at all. Most other testeres just encountered difficulties with swimming around the statics, but in the end they reached the key and the trunk.

THEO
My character is an Imperial, and I really cannnot move. I can only scroll my mouse around until I drown.
And once I enter the lower deck, how do I find the exit door? Scroll left, right? Too annoyed by the constant drowning to find out by myself
The trunk in the captain's cabin is quite reachable without telekinesis.
Thank you for your reply, I'll try again soon and report.
EDIT: Tried it, failed miserably again. My head is quite literally stuck to the ceiling and I cannot move a muscle. Should I try to find a 100 unlock scroll and just suffer the trap? Hopefully you didn't put a 10 000 damage irresistible spell on it, haha.

Well there is unfortunately nothing I can advice you, as the interior is clearly broken. Please report the error in the error reporting thread and hopefuly it will be fixed in the next release. If you however wish to finish the quest there is a way to cheat it.
+++ SPOLIER ALERT +++
Open console ingame(by default by ~ key) type in TCL (Toggle CLipping) and press enter. Than close the console again with the same button. You will be now able to clip through statics and hence move freely in the deck. To switch clipping off again jsut repeat the procedure.
Now I spoiled you, but it is purpose of this forum and I hope you won't abuse this cheat too much for your own enjoyment.
