ohnoitsabear's showcase

Post by ohnoitsabear »

I've been wanting to get into making mods for Morrowind for quite a while, so I decided to try to join this project. For my showcase, I made a two-story, 3x3 Hlaalu style house.

Thank you for your time.

First off, thank you for the quick reply, Leon. I appreciate your review and your constructive criticism.

Anyway, here's what I changed:

-Took out "bk_specialfloraoftamriel", because I realized that it would take WAY to long to get it to lay on the desk in a way that looked natural.

-Adjusted all the lamps and the lantern so that they aren't bleeding or floating.

-Moved "furn_planter_04" and lowered the plants.

-Adjusted lighting settings to make it lighter and more pleasant looking.

-Rotated everything on the bookshelves and the table so that they (hopefully) don't bleed or float. Lesson learned: don't be lazy.

I look forward to another review, and once again thank you for your time.

Okay, let's try this again.

First, I fixed the problems with the goblet and the table. You have no idea how dumb I feel for missing those two things.

Then, like you suggested, I added around 50 more objects to the cell, and moved and removed a few of the objects that were already there to accommodate the new stuff. Hopefully, the interior is now sufficiently cluttered.

Also, I have been cleaning my file with TESAME all along, so unless I messed something up with it (which is, admittedly, a possibility), the file should be clean.

Good job!

Very impressive. As Leon said, you have shown tremendous improvement in a short period of time. There is still some room to improve rotating objects for the De_P Furniture, but that will come with time. All in all, excellent work, this interior looks great.

Woot!

Thank you very much Tyrant and Leon for your recommendations. And thank you Leon for your constructive criticism, which allowed me to not make the same dumb mistakes over and over.

The worst error in this thing is that a bottle on its side on the first floor was resting on an edge, and even that isn't all that bad.

Member promoted for interiors

If you have any questions ask them here or PM them to myself or Samir.

edit: does it count as being ninjad if the post came 2 hours before mine? I handle interior promotions. I have been extraordinarily busy.

Yay! Thank you very much, Thrignar.

I don't have any questions at the moment, although that may change soon.
