Share your music

Post by Aeven »

All of us probably listen to music. Whatever your tastes, you've probably felt some kind of urge to share it with others.

Basically, this thread is for you to share a link to a song you enjoy, and tell people about it.

I'll start with C-ro (feat. Asaf Avidan & The Mojos) - Maybe you are. It's a really relaxing mix of Asaf Avidan's "Maybe you are" song.

Neat idea.

Nostrand, by Ratatat. Don't be discouraged by the first part, just enjoy the buildup. Lex is also a great track of theirs.

This will have many pages by the time we are done with it, especially since I always feel like I need a platform to shove music at people.

Thank you, Aeven, you kut.

If you visit London this year visit the Science Museum's Electronic Music exhibition. It's really good (and I helped put it together).

I'll remember that if I visit my UK friends this year. How did you get involved? Do you work there? Are you an artist?

David Guetta? It's really only interesting if you give us something we might not have heard of.

Kölsch at Trouw Amsterdam, a really amazing live set. Especially the song starting around 10:50 is so, so incredibly awesome.

American Minor - One Last Supper

Good luck finding the song for anything other than download. The whole album is good and you can find some of the songs on youtube, but the band broke up shortly after the album release so it never got much play.
And that's how you get to Llama School.

Very high on my list of favorite songs. A beautiful ballad about dying, or death, or being dead... or sacrifice, or however the hell you want to interpret it. And by far (in my opinion) one of the most passionate and meaningful guitar solo's of all time! Anyways... Enjoy!

I don't know if you guys know Connan Mockasin or are even into this kind of weird Psychpop music but I do!

"ALT-j" is now the new revelation in the scene and "Sbtrkt" really tries to close the gap between mainstream pop and his wonderful multicultural flavored heavy bass music.
<names to remember if you like this.>

oh, and yes I also think that Connan M. was under influence while writing his album
harry: "Professor? is this real? or is it all happening inside my head?"
professor: "ofcourse it's happening inside you head harry! but does that mean it's not real?"
