exterior showcase file Problem

this may seem stupid, but i got the exterior showcase file but i can't seem to make the corners of the 'fill me in' cells, i've try it at all angles and i can raise the rest of it, but it just won't work.

You need to use the Flatten and Soften Vertices tool to do this.

the mountain doesn't work, all i can do with it is flatten it, the flatten vertices doesn't seem to work on the mountain

Then use the smooth tool, the reason I included this somewhat challenging place to border match is because it is required of exterior modders to be able to use all the landscaping tools in the CS.

Smooth, then use normal landscape raising to get it up where it should be. If the height difference between the top and the bottom isn't too big, you can use the flatten tool to get increments of land to where you want it. Then you smooth and shape as you want it to.
