5-26-Red

Post by Haplo »

Claim type: Exterior
Claim ID: TR_5-26-Red (#2445)
Faction: Redoran
Claimed by: Sir Dave
Status: Approved (Progress: 100%)
Location: (-21,-1):(-17,-4), Size: 20
Files: TR_5-26-Red_Haplo_2.esp

---

Velothi Mountains/ash swamp region/coastal region.
Please download map 5 height map here and work from that:

http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?t=19347
Note that cleaning irrelevant cells may create land tears, so backup your work regularly and often.

This claim is mainly VM, but also a few cells of ash swamp region at the river as well as a coastal region. Include a winding road and border match as good as possible.

For VM inspiration, see neighboring claim 4-43 as well as 4-22 and 4-32. Make sure this claim reaches a height of 5-6000 in -19,-3, and have the terrain flow naturally around that peak. For ash swamp inspiration see ash swamp concept posted in the 5-21 thread. Note that the roads needs to be of higher detail than other areas, and most of all have fun.

Claiming:

I'll stick to the the road plan as described in the picture.
I'll add a redoran watchtower somewhere along the road in the mountains.
and of course I'll add some caves/tombs.

should the peak in -19,-3 have snow? and if yes, from what height?

Granted. The peak (that needs to be made) can have snow from 4800 for instance, that's about the same lowest height in 4-43 and 4-5. 4-5 has a watchtower in -22 -5 so don't place it too close to that one. Otherwise have lots of fun. Remember no BM rocks in this area, and no nordic presence this far south.

TESAME: Clean

Fits exterior: Yes

Northmarker set: Yes
Loading errors: No

Review: Pretty good all around. A few spots I think could have used just a touch of details like around the watchtower, and I toned down your flower clusters a bit.

Comments Nice mix of regions. I like the compartmentalization with the mountains, makes for a neat walk through.

Approved.

Sir Dave, in the future, be careful about rough terrain and about statics/flora bleeding into the terrain or other objects where it shouldn't be doing so.
