The western border of Morrowind. Southwestern edge of map 5 bordering Cyrodiil. See 4-16,4-22 and 4-32 for VM inspiration for this one. The original file has nothing worth saving, please start with new file.

Please add pass, stronghold set style, as well as a Redoran village, 8-9 interiors and a temple (situated some distance from the pass. Make sure all landscape is raised high enough.

BM+snow+height.
Southern part of claim: No taller peaks than 15000 please.
Northern part of claim: No taller peaks than 15500 please.

As with 5-15, this claim needs to be redone. I suggest using the brilliant design from 4-16, 4-32 and 4-22 here as well.

Unlocked for claiming. Please submit a thorough plan for it when claiming. Since this is a mountain border claim we expect a lot in terms of landscaping.

Claiming. The fort will be near the border (in light blue) while the redoran village will be further down the road (temple marked with deep blue). I'll follow claim 4-22 concept of mixing RM and snow. The black line in the image is the border between pure RM and snowish RM.

We're currently deliberating on whether or not to change the Pass to a different architecture style at the moment, so please bear with us while waiting for the claim to be granted.

Also, at this point, the border mountain range needs to be BM by now. The 5-15 claim to the south is where it will transition from RM to BM.

Thanks for the fast reply. I'm fine with changing the architecture so take your time. Velohi architecture would be interesting.

For the RM/BM thing the bordering claim 5-2 was mainly RM so some sort of a transition should be made.

Velothi actually sounds like a very sensible idea for Dunmer mountain pass architecture, assuming something suitably awesome-looking can be conjured up.

Ok, granted. Make the pass with the stronghold set style. Regarding height on the landscape cells, see this : http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/3321/513k.jpg

Dark blue: Between 15000-15500 for peaks, otherwise between 12000-13000.
Light blue: Between 12000-13000 for peaks, otherwise between 9000-11000.

Don't worry about border matching with 5-2 as that claim will require a huge amount of change. Border match with Scamps 5-15 as soon as possible.

Note that we aim for detailed landscapes, believable mountain areas and scenic views. Border cells must include unscalable mountains, non-border claims do not need this.

I will try to get some work done on 5-15 this week... though I guess you'll be faster. Please upload a WIP then so that I can see what you made up for the BM mountains, it offers great possibilities...

Please make the three eastern cells seem a little lower, and bring the village down approx 1000-1500 height units. Also open up the pass, it's supposed to be blocked by a gate or something, but still possible to look beyond it into the other province.

very very nice.

i think the 'disabled access' ramp out of the fort is kinda nullified by not having one out the front. So it just looks odd and ugly. to my mind such uncharacteristic (of the game) attention to 'realism' provokes more questions than it resolves in the minds of observers. but i have made this point before with other forts...

For reviewer: You may add the "lol you really want to stay in morrowind kthxbai"-script from the similar gate at the fort in 4-8 (it's in the latest file) on the gate leading to Skyrim. We're not supposed to open it before Scamp and Lestat has eaten all the cells in Skyrim.

Because they are Stronghold-stylish versions of the Imperial Gate Frames I used for the pass because they are awesome. They shall be replaced with Dunmer versions to make it fit the whole thing better.

My confusion arises from the post Scamp made explaining them, in which he used both "Stronghold-style" and "Dunmer" to describe what I now realize is the same thing, two different and separate times. I first thought he was saying that you uploaded "stronghold-style" gate retextures, but that he would instead be using "Dunmer" gate retextures at the end of the day.

Review: Very tidy exterior and well detailed.

Comments Creative use of the stronghold set, although I think you went a little overboard with it in some ways. Good detail, and nice, interesting terrain with things to discover tucked away.
