Hexchat is an open-sourced version of X-Chat, and is pretty fantastic. It's what I currently use after years of having used Pidgin (which for whatever reason started causing crashes on my machine, apparently).

Thanks Cat. I actually tried using Pidgin a couple weeks back, but whenever I tried to log onto #Tamriel, no one was ever there.

I'll try to see if I get better results from HexChat.
