Hello
So, I've played Morrowind for years, I've gone through 3 copies of it, and somehow I've never managed to find my way here until now.
I was just looking at the morrowind community hub on steam and noticed someone commenting about the "best mod for morrowind ever" and decided to check it out.
To my surprise, I actually found something that even I thought was awesome. Although, I'm not entirely sure that this is even active anymore, as the forums do not seem to show dates of posts.
Anyway, hi people who are there.

Sooo, I joined up with this grand dream of modding for TR on oblivion a few years back (maybe more than a few), and never got to doing anything at all... between studies, work, and life, I never got properly motivated to put time aside for it.
That being said. Studies are finished, business is booming, and life is good, and I find myself with time to spare. I played around with the TR releases and find them mind-blowing. (I especially like Helnim for some reason so my hat off to all those who worked on it). However as I trekked all over the TR landmass I couldn't help notice their seemed to be a lack of quests. Wait that's poorly phrased, it's not really the lack of but rather the fact the landmass is so huge and unlike Bethesda's Vvardenfell which is designed to maximize the usage of available space, TR find's itself unrequired to do so (because it's so _________ huge!!!). Still the result is similar and in some areas there could definitely be more. (we always want more don't we?)
The point being, without wanting to promise anything, I decided to stick my head in the Morrowind CS for the first time ever(I originally had MW for Xbox), and if that goes well I'll be making a rather fervent and aggressive push in the showcase section to plug each and every single npc in the game into a quest of some sort ... ok maybe not everyone of them...

Hello, all! I am a quest writer for the mod project Beyond Skyrim, hosted on Dark Creations. I am looking to do some more quest design, especially in my beloved land of Morrowind. Hoping to be of some use to you.
In addition to writing quests, I also write fiction and design interiors.
You may call me Sleepy.

Hello!
Hi, I've been a fan of the Elder Scrolls for around 4 years now, ever since I tried Oblivion, but it wasn't until I gave Morrowind a go that I really became enticed in the series.
I am currently a student doing my final A-levels and I am hoping to go to the Norwich University of the Arts in England to study Game Art design. I've recently started delving deeper into concept art, and I'd really like to contribute to this project in any way I can. I have my exams coming up, so I will be pretty busy, but when I have time, I really want to contribute to TR.
I really love the weirdness of the imaginative-yet-believable culture of the Dunmer and I think this whole project is amazing; it really breathes in new life to our beloved Morrowind. I think that the stuff that's already there in Sacred East and the alphas of the south and west are really cool and that this mod will be truly amazing once it's in a solid 'completed stage'.
I'm part Viet and part Cantonese, and I've lived in Vietnam all my life. The east asian influences on Morrowind (i.e gondolier hats, Mournhold architecture and Ancestor Worship) really resonate with me, and that's also kind of why I like Morrowind over the other two well-known TES games.
So again, hi! I really look forward to contributing to TR!

Hello fellow Elder Scroll Enthusiasts! My name is Aaron and I have been an avid fan of all things elder scrolls ever since Morrowind came out!
Way back in the year 2008 when I was in Junior high I was a modder here. Sadly I didn't contribute much and as I got busy with high school I neglected my hobby. I was also a bit of a troll back in those days. My username was Hillbilly Man. Some of you who were around back in the year 2008 may be rolling your eyes right now. I took pranks a little bit too far, but I was a dumb young teenager then and a lot has changed in the last six years.
Currently I'm studying Business and Economics at at Lyon College, a small Liberal Arts College nestled away in the Ozark Mountains. It's like the liberal mecca in a deep sea of conservativeness. I love it there. I also work a job as a Support Specialist at a bank. These two things take up the vast majority of my time, but hopefully one day I'll find time to get back into modding again.
it makes me very happy to see this site doing so well! The new projects that are going on look amazing! You are truly a talented group of modders and I sincerely hope that this site keeps going strong in the future! You guys are awesome!

Hi everyone,
My name is Chris. I'm 26, a full time chef, and I have been absolutely in love with Morrowind since a friend showed it to me about a decade ago. I have only ever played it on the xbox but I'm about to switch over to the PC version so that I can check out all of the awesome looking mods out there. Anyway, this looks like a fantastic project and I can't wait to get involved!

Hello everyone, I'm Elavion. I'm 19, and I started playing Morrowind when I was like 8 years old- and it took me only several months to start modding it (blessed be the easiness of TES3CS!). I've seen TR quite a while ago, but it was some time after it initally died (glad to see it revived). Haven't been modding the game for a few years now, but I hope I can help with the project.

My name is Cameren (yes, with idiosyncratic spelling), and I've been a fan of Morrowind for a couple years. While I am no modder, I honestly feel that I might have something to contribute to the writing of this project, and have also joined the ship out of sheer respect for the game and of the very giddy feeling that this whole project gives me.
Hello, my name is Tim. Big fan of Morrowind from the time it was released(I was around 13 years old then, I think, time flies...) I do some writing in my free time, so I'd like to help out with quests in the future, if possible. My main ideas revolve around bringing a large amount of pathos to the smaller voices in the game. In my play throughs, I was impressed by the multitude of distinct voices, and the overall mythos (the anticipations, the dynamics in the birth of the Tribunal, different faiths and world-views among the dunmer, the Great-Houses and the idea of Morrowind being a country of Velothi nomads, and the development of culture from such humble beginnings). One thing I found lacking was the savior neverarine plot-line... it's just a tired trope, in my opinion, although Morrowind has an interesting take on it, I suppose. I'm interested in the commoners, and the bright youth and wizened elders among them, and the conflict that goes along with class-struggle, desire to leave the village or small town, and notions of family within and without a large House or perhaps some other faction... I think it would be interesting to dig really deep into the machinery of those kinds of bonds. For those interested, my biggest writing influences are Dostoyevsky, Roberto Bolano, Robert Walser, Nietzche, Hemingway, Felix Guattari. I'm still learning but hopefully I can be of some help to this ambitious project.
sincerely,

Hello, hello. I was just recently in the IRC chat to ask a couple of questions before I installed the mod for my current play-through and ended up being recruited.
I do a little bit of everything, model, UV, texture, graphic design, code. I've never used the CS before, for any TES/Fallout game, but I've modded plenty of other games and I imagine it won't too terribly difficult to pick up.
I'm currently modelling this concept and then I'll look into the process of converting it into a .nif, putting it inside of the CS and constructing a basic scene including/inside of it.
I have plenty of spare time, but it's unpredictable, but I'm hoping to become a reliable contributor to this ancient (in a good way) project.

Most developers here don't check this thread, so I encourage you to make a showcase where they will actually see it.Austupaio wrote:Hello, hello. I was just recently in the IRC chat to ask a couple of questions before I installed the mod for my current play-through and ended up being recruited.

Hello to you all,
I am Klep, from the Netherlands. Currently located in Madrid and moving around quite a bit.
I love Morrowind great integrity, though I have never spent much time on any other TES game. I think I have played Morrowind on and off for about 10 years, usually without any mods save the Morrowind Overhaul ones to boost the graphics a bit. For some reason I hadn't heard of TR untill just a few days ago and I was literally shocked by the richness and prosperity of this immense project. How could I never have heard of it before? The idea of extending the game to its full potential is one I admire greatly, so I started reading bits and pieces on these forums. Only then I realised how big the project actually is and how the professionalism of you guys makes it something worthy of being called impeccable. So I registered and read some more, only to find out how insignificant my knowledge of Morrowind and its lore is. My uttermost respect for all of you who contribute to realising TR.
I am a total noob with no experience whatsoever when it comes to design, scripting, modding etc. and I feel that my presence here won't be one of great contribution because of that. However, I want to help. I feel the urge to be part of this and do whatever I can to help build and improve the Morrowind you are creating.
As for now I have no idea of how to accomplish this and how much knowledge of both the game and modding it is required to actually contribute.
I have sufficient free time to learn the basics of scripting/modding, but I guarantee you that I will never be good at it. These things are just not in me, but if you could point me in the right direction I might just be able to help out a little and show my modest input.
So I ask, how can I be of any assistance?

It is always nice to have new members.
If the technical aspects of the game do not interest you (modding, questing, etc), how about reading through some of the Mod Planning sections and offer your opinions. As a seasoned player, you may have good ideas on which we can build.
Greetings,
I joined the Tamriel-rebuilt community due to falling in love with the aspirations and achievements of you fine people. I have some CAD experience but none whatsoever with any TES modding tools. Hopefully I will learn how to use them in the coming months so I can be of use later on. Besides that I'd like to contribute to creative writing (lore, dialogue, etc.).
Meanwhile I felt like introducing and will be lurking mostly, all the best. I hope I'll find the time to really get involved (being a student and all....)

Hello everyone! Just wanted to stop by and say hello and introduce myself.
I'm Aquilus and I am an admin on a Minecraft server project devoted to recreating the entirety of Tamriel. I'll spare the details of our project, known as TamrielCraft, for another topic so my intro won't come off as a website promotion.
But anyway, if you guys have any reasonable questions for me feel free to ask and I'll answer.

Hi.
I'm a Morrowind fan, I've read my TES lore and regularly talk about it on certain forums. My interest in Tamriel Rebuilt is great and while I'm not a skilled modder - not yet at least - I want to support the project. Joining the forum is the least I can do. Maybe more.
I've gone through all released content at least once.

Howdy Guys! I'm new here, and while I'm not proficient in modding or any of that stuff I'd love to be a help wherever possible. I have taken a few tutorials and plan to learn more in the Construction Set, and I'm not too bad sketching with a pen and paper. So if it's not too much trouble I'd appreciate a senior member pointing me in the right direction! Thanks!
Hi and welcome to all.
As the majority of us have been focussed more on planning than on actual modding the past few months, and there is still plenty of planning to be done, I think the best way to contribute at this point is to have a look at some of the brianstorming threads in the planning forums and throw in your opinion here and there.
@GoroGoron, you may also want to check out some of the Concept Art threads and maybe contribute to them.
It's not much, but I hope that helps at least a bit!

Hello all,
I'm Sam (imagine that) and I have just recently heard of Tamriel Rebuilt. It was brought to my attention while watching someone stream it, and I immediately both wanted to play it, and saw great potential for it to be "THE" mod for anyone who wanted to play Morrowind. Enough praising though, now about me. I am a decent writer, but I have a pretty good imagination if I ever collaborate with anyone. I also voice act a little, and can provide moral support to anyone who needs it. I recently finished school, so I will (hopefully!) be available full time. So, yeah. Dats me, and I can't wait to see where this mod goes (even further)

Hello!
I used to be moderately active in the Morrowind modding community a few years back (under a different username back then), and have just gotten back into modding recently. I looked up TR and found out it was still going strong, so I decided to make an account here. Hopefully I can find my way around the CS again and maybe join as a modder!
