Conflicts Between Indoril Law and Imperial Law

When the armistice was written, a legal system was set up which was a compromise between traditional House Law and Imperial Law. This means we get Imperial Law for many things, most notably things you'd get arrested for (with perhaps a few exceptions). In vanilla there are two notable things, flying in the face of Imperial Law, that arose from this compromise:

*The Morag Tong gets to execute people with impunity.
*Slavery is legal, the reasoning used that it is an important part of "Dunmeri culture". This is an interesting precedent because I think it opens the door for a bunch of other weird legal quirks.

I think major conflicts between Indoril Law and Imperial Law, on the order of the above two, would be interesting and add to Indoril character. Something House Indoril does in their unique legal system that flies in the face of Imperial Law.

Any thoughts?

If you're looking for ideas, look at imperial law itself and then ask if it would make sense for the Indoril to do this or that in the opposite.

There was also a thing in vanilla with mining ebony and collecting dwemer artifats being illegal unless chartered by the empire.

See here for my take on this: http://tamriel-rebuilt.org/old_forum/viewtopic.php?t=24271

Also the thing about Indoril law is that it encompasses everything you can think of, including stuff that Imperial legislators would never even think about. Laws of nature, that sort of thing.
