Model load error?

Post by Moonbeast32 »

I've been having pretty much nothing but problems since I've installed Morrowind. one of these problems happens every time I try too look through the different character customization options at the beginning of the game:

Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_1.
Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_5.
Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_extrav_2_f.
Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_4.
Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_1.
Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_4.
Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_4.
Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_4.
Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_4.
Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_4.
Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_5.
Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_1.
Model Load Error: Meshes\TR\b\TR_Khajiit_M_H05_Nal.nif cannot load file in Meshes\TR\b\TR_Khajiit_M_H05_Nal.nif.
Will use the default object Marker_Error.NIF.

I know it sound unrelated to the mod, but i experimented, and this only happens when I have TR related files active in the data files window. does this problem look familiar to anyone? anyone got a fix?

Hello friend. I have two questions to ask you.

First did you alter the Morrowind.ini file yet? You have to go to archives section in that file and add
"Archive 2=TR_Data.bsa" under the line where it says "Archive 1=Bloodmoon.bsa" If there is already a line that says Archive 2=WHATEVER.bsa, change the 2 of that current file to a 3 before adding the TR_Data line.

Secondly, are you using the Morrowind Overhaul 3.0? (aka MGSO?) I have found that it seems to make some of these load errors appear sometimes. One mesh in particular: Datafiles/Meshes/F/furn_de_table_03

I deleted that one mesh file and then all the other load errors seemed to correct themselves.

Also I would like to note that the ORDER you install these applications and mods will make or break your game, literally.

If you install MGSO after putting in the TR data files or any mod for that matter it will most likely corrupt your game and you will have to uninstall and reinstall the entire game all over again.

Also if you are using mods, you should list them and maybe someone can help point you out to what is causing the incompatibility.

You don't have to change any of the numbers, or change the order in any way. You just have to type in the next available number.

That seems to have worked, Thanks. Haven't encountered any more bugs yet.
