I liked dexter's dark seducer quite a bit, in fact I ended up basing my final version of the seducer off his dark seducer concept. I wouldn't have done any better on that concept.

Lord Gallant... if that seducer looks like your girl friend, well... all's I can say is: Props to you!!!

Not like I'm a key member or anything, but I thought I'd let you guys know I'll be on vacation starting tommorow for about a week. I should be back with a few fresh ideas.

Here is my idea of a Daedra Count. Counts I think can come in many different forms but this could be a generic one that could be used over and over. I am thinking of doing more work as I usually do in photoshop, like adding armor to him.

Very Nice! The only thing I have to complain about is that he doesn't look like a "noble" to me. I know you said he is supposed to be generic but he looks kinda like a barbarian more than a count. It seems to me he should have some fancier clothing (or more elaborate) to befit his high rank among daedra. Which is actually the highest rank I know of besides Prince! Nicely drawn though!

Yea, well I am going back and probably going to outfit him in Daedric Armor, perhaps that will help, but I know what you are talking about. Although not all the Princes even have fancy clothing, but I'll see what I can do.

Hello. First, let me say I'm a big fan of TR. I've been following it for a year and a half. I'm not sure if I want to join yet, however I noticed this Concept Art thread and thought that maybe I can atleast contribute in ideas. I'm not an artist, I can't draw very well. However, I have two pictures. The first is a sword I thought of. I took inspiration both from the Keening and from Soulshade's "Blade of Soulshade" from his Weapons of Tamriel mod. The top one is inside it's Sheath. The bottom is it's bare blade. I like the sheath far more than the blade itself.

The Balraken Blade

This second one took me awhile longer. It's a work-in-progress suit of armor that so far consists of the Helm, Pauldrons, Cuirass, Gauntlets, and a Spear (More like a halberd). I drew this one spontaneously, so I started with a pen and naturally messed up. There is an area around the helm where I used white out, and the right hand is in poor proportions. There is a cape behind it but I didn't really go into detail with that.

Arthmodeus, that pic is pretty nice apart from the head being way to small and the hands being way, WAY too big. Otherwise, this could be a unique "Cave monster" for black marsh... or maybe even, after considerable modification, a werecrocodile. This thing really doesnt seem to fit under "daedra" to me, more "things that go bump in the night".

Ahh, thank you for the feedback! I totally suck at hands but Im good at just about everything else. Is the head really too small? I never noticed that he could be a Black Marsh creature until now. What about a Daedra hunter that lives in the Black Marsh?

Could sombody do this creature from the official forums

"So, I went poking around for something interesting to say about the Durzog. In the art assets doc I found a description of a creature that was never made. The sludgepuppy was originally supposed to be a worm. A big flat worm with many legs that would lay in wait for you beneath the water. Looks great on paper, but a worm?"

"The original worm creature would have been really cool. I had wanted a creature that could surprise you. They were supposed to hang out below the water surface of the Mournhold sewers, with only their eyestalks visible (these eyestalks would have looked like some natural vegetation growing in the sewers). When the unlucky adventurer got too near, they would rise up and attack. Sadly, as Mav said, there were some technical reasons that these never came to be. I'm still a little bitter about it."

Sorry I haven't been here for a while. Been very busy with work.
That being said, here is my concept of that wormy thing. It isn't anything special, but the monster doesn't sound very awe-inspiring either.
Sorry I couldn't come back with a buttload of cool drawings, but I will start uploading new stuff soon.

Hey, Arthmodeus, don't get discouraged that someone else decided to have a crack at drawing that worm too. Notice how the seducer was drawn by two different people as well. If you want to show us what you imagine a sludgeworm would look like, I'd like to see it! This is a creativity pool here, not an assembly line! :D

The reason there is more than one concept artist is so that the other members can critique us, view the different artist's interpertations, and pick what aspects they like the most. Post your version, it could be a thousand times better than mine. I'm also going to do a sub drawing, but especially on something like this, where are drawings are bound to be radically different, the modelers could benefit from several different source drawings.

I call this the S.S. Dwarfilus.
I am by no means an expert on Dwemer technology, so I just took inspiration from existing Dwemer ruins, and the Dwemer airship in Solstheim.

the telescope thingie is backwards...lol

whats the statue for? It's kinda out of place on an underwater submersible.

S.S. Dwarfilus or S.S. Submersimus sounds good :)

S.S. Dwarfilus was just something I made up off the top of my head, I thought it sounded pretty rediculous.
To make it look more Dwemerish, I am going to add more pipes and hatches and the like.
The statue is just something I got from the airship. The airship has the statue on it's prow, so I decided to repeat it on the sub to tie them together.

which side is the front? cause you wouldn't want a spike to go forward underwater, but unless that fan is the most powerful in the world, it wouldn't do any good by pulling the sub behind it....

The front is the spiky end. Being how Dwemer technology isn't real, I threw function out the window in favor of form, and tried to tie in the sub as closely as possible to other Dwemer stuff.

and I hate to be a bugger, but the telescope thing is still facing the wrong way...

I'm no Navy Seal, but wouldn't the sub want to see where it is going? Anyways, the periscope is really only there to show where it would be placed. Should this actually get made into a model, the modeler can make it face any direction his heart desires.
And I'm not sure what the Dragonlance Gnome thing is, but I can assure you I did not add them for the purpose of stabbing things in a ram. Although that would be pretty cool to watch.

Well you can't see through the pariscope while it's moving and therefore you want it streamlined at least if what movies I've seen are true.

As for the gnomes they have a habit of stuff exploding or generally not working right.

Well that makes sense. If you guys really really want I can do a cut and paste thing in photoshop and turn the periscope around, but I'd rather you guys use your imaginations so I don't have to waste my upload space :D

its fine, you don't have to change it.

yeah and basically what ace said, the gnomes (with the exception of 3) each have their own life's quest that they spend their whole life working on...and most of them are things they make, and none of them ever work properly, like an airballoon that blows up or that can't land, etc. etc.

so we wouldn't want a submersible that doesn't work right is all i'm saying ;) however, it could open into some interesting plots

It looks definatly cool but we have one problem here... I was talking about small sub suitable for one man + the same sub but only reworked to be able to transport small amount of cargo. And what you have drawn is really a SS Dwarfilius :) It looks really cool but it's too big sadly... Look at this pic at make it look more dwemerish + attach ozygn tanks to it:

BTW people said that it's not really dwemerish to them but personally I like it so it's not me to balme for showing already made model and asking to rework it

I've returned, and here's three new pics.

Dragon: Based off of the Bethesda dragon just meaner looking.

Flesh Golem: Based on Dexter's concept. It's basically just a bunch of flesh & body parts fused together into lumps and sewn up to make a golem.

Iron Golem: Not really sure how I feel about this guy, this isn't really a finished pic. I think the fore arms aren't quite right, I might make them into giant hammers and see how that works.
