i think u are right , also i think i should include more of the northern sea , so severall fjords and islands could be modded...
i don't know if i should add also names to leave the claiming map as clean as possible , i decided to include more of the morrowid province just to make a comparison , in the next map it will be not or no more than the normal one i guess...
btw have u noticed that in the map i am tring to follow geoklogical evolution and climatics due to the orogenics of the land?....

as in, the cell-thick lines should be brighter and/or more transparent; while the little grid lines should be darker and/or less transparent.
Also, it would help newer modders if you made morrowind province semi-transparent as to lessen confusion; and of course make a second, smaller version of the map.
My only other suggestions would be to make the map go a bit further out to sea, and to somehow make the cities more visible (I.E. put a lightly visible red layer over them).

Ah, excellent! I probably got annoying saying "Saarthal!" everytime Skyrim was mentioned, lol! Now, with that icon on the map, my work here is done.
EDIT: That was a joke.

Trudging through the relentless Skyrim snowstorms, the lone Paladin looks on in sorrow as the land of Tamriel evolves without him; his mind occupied with other matters.

First mannish settlement on Tamriel you mean the Mer where in Skyrim long before the Nords.Lord_Gallant wrote:The first settlement on Tamriel
The map looks great but those roads are still a bit on the faded side in places, looks like you drew them then used the airbrush in places as some are really faded. Plus once the map is shrunk down for claiming purposes they'll be even harder to spot. Just my €0.02.

Prom the map is great, but when we make one for claiming would you consider making it easier to make out what is there. ATM, it looks a bit crowded and it is hard to notice everything right away, IMO. It is fine like this but when you look at it as a whole it is a little jumbled(i guess). I personally thought the Morrowind Mainland map was great, it was easy to make out everything on it, maybe consider a look somewhat like that. Either that or it might be something else, like making the icons differ a little from eachother so they don't blend as well. You know what I mean?

? I don't understand what u mean , if u refer to the definition , then this is a really low low definition map to not occupy much space to upload .... the original is much more readeable , if u refer to the icons well i think is a bit late to redo the whole map since i took almoust one year to arrive where i am now....other than that i guess i didn't got what u really mean.....

Thats not a fact. The Nord think they were first in Tamriel and went later to Atmora. Then after hundreds of Years they came back to Tamriel. The map just needs to be a bit more readable. Maybe you could highlight the places of interest somehow, make them stand out from the blended visual glory of the Skyrim wilderness.prometheus wrote:? Yes having more areas in the north I think would be good. Ice makes some amazingly beautiful looking creations by itself, and I think that some castles made of ice and that sort of thing could be lovely. So a few towns on penisulas sticking to the north, ships would stop at them and that could be their reason for existing in such horrible climate...
Which reminds me are we going to have some huge mountains anywhere? I think a quest that involved simply figuring out a way up a gigantic mountain would be in order.

well, there was discussion to make statics for actual pointy mountains, but i dont know what happened to the idea. I think it would rule, and wouldnt be too hard to make either.
